We stayed one night and also had a meal.
What was good? - clean sheets, fluffy towels, salads
What was bad? - Bedroom; bare floorboards, double adaptors on top of double adaptors with cords running between air-con and TV, tiny TV sitting on a table on top of a cupboard, peeling and cracked walls and ceiling, grotty shower curtain, door lock dodgy.
Meal; Schnitzel cooked in old, rancid fat, loaded mushroom sauce bland and tasteless, mixed grill overcooked with mushy veggie burger included. Sorry guys but we felt ripped off!

I live in Coonalpyn so this hotel would be considered my local although I do not go out much. The meals are excellent quality and HUGE. I have to eat mine in two servings to eat it all. You definitely get your monies worth.The staff are always friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend people stopping by. It is a quiet little pub with everything you could need and more. Excellent espresso coffee also.

WOW! What a fantastic hotel. The meals and service are excellent. If you are in the area or travelling via the Dukes highway I would recommend popping in for a meal. It is incredible value for money for both drinks and meals and has a very inviting fire place and relaxed atmosphere. The accommodation looks clean and comfortable and reasonable priced, although I have not stayed there myself. We always have a welcoming time here.
