I have always been happy with the service here until recently when they sold me a lipstick that contained Ethanol and burnt my lips. They would not offer a refund and did not warn me about this prior to purchasing this product. I also had waxing done on the same day where patches were missed.

Hi Alex, Thank you for your feedback. I'm so sorry you feel we did not meet your expectations at this visit, but we appreciate you sharing your thoughts as it does help us improve. As was explained to you on the phone the experience you had with the permanent lip colour product (which is not a lipstick) was normal and not an indication of a faulty product with this lip colour. The therapist explained that you would feel a tingling sensation as the colour adheres to your lips to last the approx 8-16 hours before the need to reapply. This feeling can be intensified if your lips are dry or dehydrated, but will lessen over time. Conditioning and moisturizing your lips and keeping them in good condition will help the product last even longer when applied as well. This product is amazing, and I hope that you will give it another chance, knowing that what you felt was normal. If you would like instruction on how to apply the lip colour correctly, we are happy to help. Just take a week to hydrate your lips first to get them in the best condition possible. We will be sure in future to insist that our customers try the testers in reception before purchase to prevent this happening again. This is why we spend so much money on testers and have them available, so every client can try them before they make their purchase. Unfortunately once a lip colour is used it is not able to be returned.

When the manager spoke to you on the phone you didn't mention that there was an issue with your waxing. We definitely would have asked you to come back in so we could fix that up for you. As part of our process, we always ask our clients to check the area prior to leaving so we ensure there are no missed patches, and we can address it immediately, as sometimes clients can feel areas of hair that our therapist cant see. We thought you were happy with your service on the day, because when you booked your next treatment you requested the same therapist again. She will be so disappointed in herself to know that her treatment was not to the highest standard, and will want to rectify it as soon as possible. I went here to do a skin tag removal- they gave me good advice which helped me to understand the reason for not removing my skin tag. However this wasn’t the problem. I had also asked to do a complimentary skin consultation regarding another skin issue I had. They didn’t address the issue and I left feeling deflated. They had such good reviews which I don’t discredit- however, if you are planning on going to them, pick wisely on who you want addressing your issues. (Mine was very apathetic to any issues I had sadly)

Saturdays are a very busy day for us, your beauty therapist was booked back to back. Your free Cryotherapy consultation is a 10 min appointment, our free skin consultations are booked out for 20 mins as we like to perform a very thorough consult, and there is a lot to talk about with most peoples skin concerns. So unfortunately we just couldn't perform 30 mins of consult in only the 10 min booked time slot. We have tried to call you several times, as we would love to find a time for you to come back and have a skin consultation with us. Mel and Alexandra are really reassuring, I have only used these girls for waxing and they have been brilliant. I keep going back to Springfield simply because of how accommodating they are. They obviously love their job and are very passionate.

Staff very professional, friendly and welcoming. Service was fast and my eyebrow wax was done precisely and without too much discomfort. Staff made me aware of their specials for mineral makeup ( they carry Australian skin institute items) so I purchased the special and was very happy. Highly recommend them. Look forward to going back to try other services.
