I thought I was about to receive my first Transition To Retirement payout from another service provider, when I received the sudden and devastating news that I wasn't entitled to it because I'm not yet a Permanent Resident. I sought the advice of Mark Chaston, a man I knew through Business Network International, who always impressed me with the way he genuinely cared about the best interests of his clients rather than himself. Mark quickly provided clarification on the rules regarding the Qualifying Recognised Overseas Pension Scheme (QROPS) and Self Managed Super Funds, yet did not pressure me to become his client. Needless to say, when my circumstances allow, I will have no hesitation in becoming his client.
