We have been to charlies before a couple of years ago. went back last week and vow never again. Very poor value for money, lots of empty dishes in the servery, salads very poor quality, carvery no choices, to be perfectly honest you have more chaices at maccas. pizzas, the entire time we were there, the servery was empty.
Food was so so soo BAD...don't waste your $$$

these all you can eat places need to pull their socks up. the food on the night we went has yuk. It was not fresh it looked like it was left over from lunch time, the staff did not care about what they were there to do WORK, tables still had dirtry plates on them uncleared, the toilet were disgusting, I stopped on the way home at hungry jacks for a burger

Approximate cost: $18.00

Food was bad. Most of it tasted like the kind of food you buy in the frozen section of the supermarket. The freshest, nicest food available was the Bok Choy, everything else was badly prepared. The salad bar had three options, pasta salad, potato salad or various badly cut, questionable looking fruits and vegetables ( ie Plain tomato, old looking orange halves and beetroot). To top it all off, many of the plates and cutlery were not clean and the desserts were under served meaning that most patrons had to stand around and wait for a selection other then ice cream. The meal we had was NOT worth $22.95!

I've been here a couple of times lately for birthday lunches. The price was outstanding for the variety of food to eat. Food quality was good although the Chinese section was a bit overly oily. If you like desserts, then you had better be quick as they go fast and are not always refilled. The games area for kids was an added bonus.

I went to this buffet place for a birthday. A lot of the food quality was cheap and oily such as their noodles and alot of the food was all deep fried which filled you up fast. There salad bar was only a small selection. By the time I was on to dessert alot of the desserts had all gone and they were not replaced such as the fruits. You have to eat fast before all the food run out. The games area for kids was good. The price was reasonable though.

Approximate cost: $15pp

An all-you-can-eat lunch for only $10? Now that is cheap! The food is adequate with plenty of main courses to choose from. Service is quite good and they even have something to keep the kids busy! Unforunately, their soft-serve machine REALLY needs some maintenance...
