Had dinner Sunday night at Charlie’s Buffet with my son. Love the new redesign of the place and food is of good quality The waiting and buffet staff were very professional and friendly in attending to us :)

The only thing I can suggest is bring back the selection of pastas and soups! Lol

It had been quite a while since our last visit and predictably the price had gone up. It's still a good range of food, although there aren't as many meat dishes other than chicken and fish. None of the food was very hot, some even luke warm, but still nice. Good staff who manage the large restaurant well.

The "all you can eat" section is pretty good value for money, if you don't mind 1. people pushing you along to get to the food 2. Having them slop one dish of food into another 3. Swapping serving spoons between different trays, so you get bits and pieces of several dishes, rather than just the 1 you chose 4. You are happy to put up with luke warm food and 5. You think a very noisy dining room is okay because you didn't want to talk to anyone anyway! The dining room is a very large area and when you stand back and just observe the "goings on", it looks like a mass of animals at a feeding trough. This is a Saturday night, so it might be calmer and much better during the quiet of the week. Worth a try I suppose. I prefer the front bar of the Metro. Has a normal pub menu at fair prices and the service was friendly. .... and it was very quiet and relaxing. Just my cup of tea :)

Charlie's Diner is a great place to meet up with family and friends for a meal especially when no one can decide on what to eat. With so much to choose from, everyone is happy. I am always interested in their fresh salads and of course the desserts. Pizza, roasts, seafood, you name it, they offer it. Sure to please everyone.

For an "all you can eat" restaurant, this one's not bad. Big range of food - fish, Chinese, roasts, desserts - all the usual suspects and the dining area is huge. The price has gone up considerably over recent years so it's now rare that we go there, but a recent meal with friends was fun and fairly good value.

When my friends and I are hungry and cannot agree on what we will be eating, we end up here because they have everything you can possibly think of on offer. Pizzas, roast meats, pasta, salads and of course seafood, not to forget dessert. We are always satisfied upon leaving Charlie's Diner, we certainly get our fill. Such a great range, fresh quality food and friendly service.

I have been here a few times now with my girlfriend and a few of our friends. Well worth the money at around $20 for all you can eat. So much choice, pizzas, salads, roasts, chinese, seafood and you cannot forget the desserts.

Make sure you go here with an appetite because you will want to try a bit of everything. Our stomachs were bulging when we left, we certainly ate way tooo much. Worth every cent.

I like this place, once every blue moon.
It's just good to be able to stuff your face and not worry that you're going to be hungry later. Then again, it hurts to eat too much! Haha. But anyway, it's a good place to bring visitors or children as they can eat from a whole variety of food.

Had the Saturday lunch buffet here, which was only $2 cheaper than the evening buffet.

The food was ok but not great - the quality of food is much better at the Watermark buffet. There's unfortunately not a great variety - watery pastas with 2 choices of sauce, pizza, the standard asian choices and roast meat w vegies/salad.

You can refill your softdrink which is good. The dessert bar had a few choices, and ice cream cones which were popular with the kids.

The kitchen was quite slow refilling dishes, and some weren't refilled while I was there. There was a fruit platter at the dessert bar that stayed empty once it was all gone, and wasn't replaced nor the dish cleared for a good hour.

It was convenient for us at the time, but we don't plan to visit again. I would recommend it to friends wanting to scarf junky type food like crazy and guzzle soft drink.

This family friendly restaurant is great for those on a budget. The smorgasboard style meals are delicious. All you can eat for a set price, red refill drinks for the kiddies. And under 4's are free. The variety of food is great, from pizza, Chinese dishes, roast dishes, fish and chips, salads, desert bar and much more. The food dissappears fast, so you have to be quick, but the staff are very efficient at restocking the meals. During the week no booking is needed, but on Friday - Sunday booking is wise. We thouproughly enjoyed ourselves and walked out with very full bellies. Great place to take the kiddies.
