This jewellery store in the main street of Nuriootpa has been owned and run by the Cailes family for about 25 years. They manufacture jewellery as well.
There is a good range of the usual type of items, as well as watches, the Pandora range and other gift items.
They also do clock and watch repairs, but I have not used this service myself.
It is a pleasant store, not cluttered; there are display cases around the walls, and a few lower glass cases around the floor area of the store.
When I was in there the other day, they were quite busy, all 3 staff were dealing with customers, but after I had looked around for a few minutes, one of the young staff members acknowledged my presence, apologised for the delay in serving me, and said that she would be with me shortly.
I found this to be very courteous. Rather than getting edgy that I had to wait, I was quite happy, because I had been recognised, and shown straight away that my custom was important as well. This little courtesy is overlooked in so many businesses nowadays.
The young lady was very helpful assisting me with my purchase, offering advise, as I have little knowledge with these things. My purchase was then nicely boxed, ready for gift wrapping.
I was very happy with my experience buying from this business and would happily return again.
