At the beginning of Barwell Street near the roundabout is the Barmera Information Centre. It has many brochures showing all aspects of touring in Australia. However we just were needing a local map showing some local attractions. Friendly staff more than happy to help.

The Barmera Information Centre is easy to find, near the roundabout at the top end of the main street. There is plenty of off-street parking, on Pascoe Terrace, and the bus-stop is also here.
It is a nice-looking building, big glass windows facing the roundabout and a nice alfresco seating area at the side, with a nice view down the main street.
There is a coffee shop on-site as well as the tourist information section and gift and souvenir items.
There is seating and tables inside as well as the outside area. to enjoy your coffee and cake.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, and are obviously enthusiastic in promoting their town and area (which is certainly very beautiful).
A great place to start your holiday in the area, and to get info. on the town.
