I bought a Spreets vouchers after my sister had a very good experience with them previously. I must say I was still a little bit cautious as there were some less than happy customer reviews so I walked in with some wariness but walked out 2 hours later a very satisfied customer.

I was able to get an appointment the very next day after the voucher closed and I was more than thrilled with my cut and colour. The owner was upfront when I booked and did advise that there would be an additional charge if I used more than 1 tube of colour (which I didn't in the end as I had my hair cut just below the shoulder) and confirmed that there would be no additional charge for toner as a lot of these vouchers then to not mention in the fine print.

The stylist, Charlotta, was attentive and professional and really listened to what I wanted and I ended up with a cut and colour that was low- maintenance which suited my lifestyle. I also really liked that she didn't try to push me into buying the products that they use (all Aveda, which I loved anyway) as a lot of hairdressers tend to do to make a sale.

In the end, I was most impressed that while she had another customer waiting, she still took the time and care to make sure that we were both happy with the result- I've seen too many hairdressers rush through one customer to get to the next.

I was most impressed that they really made an effort and treated me like a full-price paying customer rather than just someone who'd gotten a really good deal and therefore deserved less in the customer service department. I would definitely come back again.

Bought a Spreets voucher for a hair package and then saw the other reviews already on womo so instead of being whacked with an unexpected fee I decided that I wouldn't ask them to colour my whole head and just do a touch up on the re-growth. Cut and colour was performed well, my stylist was really quite attentive and nice which was a nice surprise after not expecting much. The receptionist though is quite abrupt.

Overall OK considering..

I used my Spreets Voucher - $380 worth of treatments for $79. WOW!! I couldn't believe how excellent this place is! The lady that took me upstairs to pamper me was kind, sweet and attentive. She made sure she knew my name before we started. The room was clean, cosy and the set up made me feel like I was in luxury! My foot soak and scrub was so lovely. Raman explained what she needed me to do and what she was going to do in a way that made me feel very comfortable then she chatted quietly as she went about her task, very smoothly, making me feel like I was the focus and that she wanted to be there serving me. Then I had a neck, shoulder and back massage. HEAVEN! I've had many massages that I've paid full price for, but nothing as wonderful as this. She made sure I was covered up and warm as she massaged away my tension. When this was over she bent down to my ear and quietly asked if I was okay, how I felt and then asked if I could turn over for my facial. The whole experience was seemless. I then had a 45 minute facial which involved a lovely long head massage. Even the facial was carried out in the most attentive way. It seemed that Raman really enjoyed what she was doing. After this I was taken down stairs to have my hair washed and styled. Koji was waiting with a smile as Raman talked to me about my skin then handed me over to Koji who is a stylist. He was caring, attentive and professional, wearing dress pants, a shirt and tie. He was positive and obviously loved his job. He put mint oil on his hands, put them infront of my face and asked me to breath in and relax, then gave me a short but wonderful head and shoulder massage. He then pampered my hair with amazing focus and skill. Even the manager/owner? was friendly and made me feel at home, calling me by name and making me a lovely herbal tea. The place had an amazingly calming and welcoming feel. I left with a $50 gift voucher to use on my next visit, a reminder that they are always there if I need anything (as I'm new to Melbourne) and a 'see you again soon'. I will be back!

i was happy with the cut and styling of my hair but was juped with the hair treatment paying an extra $35 for a junior to plonk the treatment on my head not comb or even massage it thru, in the past i have had Aveda hair treatments that felt like a facial for the head this certainly did not and i sat there for 15 mins with a freezing scalp. was not happy. facial was absolutley hopeless the girl had no idea, vvery unlike any Aveda experience i have had in the past.

I was at this salon last week for some beauty treatments. Some of the staff are clearly not trained how to give a massage or a facial properly. Also, the wrap I was asked to wear looked very worn and unclean, as also did the towels on the bed on which I had to lie down. To be fair, the shampoo and blow dry on my hair was good but this salon really has to lift its game in the beauty department
