These guys would have to one of the best if not THE BEST and most ethical finance brokers in the business and most certainly on the Gold Coast. I have always found them to be honest, friendly and helpful when dealing with them. They have a new debt reduction program that can literally save you hundreds of thousands off dollars off your home loan & reduce all other debt as well. I would not put my finances in the hands of anyone else now.

We were looking forward to our meal at Bugzies after a great first experience earlier this year. Unfortunately we were extremely let down right across the board this time! It was a Wednesday night & the restaurant wasn't overly busy. There were three of us dining at our table ... myself, my husband & our son. After being seated by an abrupt waitress & having our order taken by a waiter with zero personality; our meal took an hour to get to the table ... only after we got fed up & asked where it was. Explanation: our order had been lost with little apology for the wait ... thanks for letting us know! We had a voucher for 2 for a fresh catch seafood platter with bottle of wine & we brought our son his own meal. The wine on offer was cheap Bowlers Run Chardonnay, put aside for voucher users no doubt as it wasn't on the wine list. The seafood (with a few exceptions) was anything but fresh, lobster had frozen taste. Our son's meal of 1 lamb shank & mash at $38 was overpriced, tasteless, tough & cold. When asked how our meal was, my husband replied; not very good but apparently the waiter didn't have his listening ears on & only heard "very good" responding with an automatic; "very good sir" ... DOH!!! We will not be going back again.

This place is a little gem in the heart of Palm Beach which we wouldn't have taken much notice of if it hadn't been for a couple of Scoopon vouchers we had purchased. In January 9 of us went there for a Sunday lunch & everyone raved about the quality of the food. I have been back there 3 times since. The menu was extensive & inventive ... even our son (a chef himself) said it was one of the best he'd seen on the Coast. The place is relaxed & funky (resembling a beach shack) & the staff are casual & friendly, featuring live music most days of the week. The service can be a little bit slow at times & some menu items a tad expensive but other than that I have no real complaints. I definitely recommend giving the Palmy Cafe a visit.

A nice tavern kind of out in the middle of nowhere. Very roomy, good service, nice staff. The only let down for me was the prices of the meals which are very expensive for a pub. Going there with the family will be out of the question again.

I love the $10 lunch specials at Robina Tavern. I just had a lovely lunch there today with my sister ... it was beautiful sitting in the sun on the back deck overlooking the water.

I booked a 1 hour 16 seat luxury hummer experience online from this company to celebrate my sons 21st birthday on Saturday May 26th 2012. The booking was made 6 months in advance using a Scoopon deal to ensure that we secured the date & the car that we wanted. I received a return email confirming this & then rang again to confirm 6 weeks prior. I was told everything was fine & that I would receive another call during the week leading up to the booking to work out final details. Well, that call never came & the limo didn't show up on the night either! Several messages were left on their answering machine but no-one returned our calls. We thought they may have been running late so we gave Hummer Limousines the benefit of doubt & waited another 45 minutes to arrive but they never did. On one of the most important days in my son's life to date; we were left stranded & embarrassed at home with 16 people waiting to the picked up & taken to a restaurant where more guests were waiting for us to show up. We then had to order 2 maxi taxi's to ferry everyone to our destination & found out that it was also Broadbeach Blues Festival that night (a busy night on the Gold Coast) so had to wait another 30 mins for taxi's to arrive. We finally reached the venue 1.5 hours late & another $60 out of pocket. The following Monday I got an email from the owner saying he tried to call me on Sunday to apologise but somehow must have been given the wrong number ... bullocks! My phone was sitting next to me all day & didn't ring once ... mind you; all these details they already would have had on file, not to mention left on the answering machine more than once with alternate numbers! The excuse ... they got the date wrong & had us booked in for June 26th instead!!! I really don't believe this as the date was already confirmed twice & June 26th fell on a Tuesday night. Why would I book a 21st on a Tuesday night 6 months in advance??? It just doesn't make sense ... more like a better deal came along! Scoopon refunded our money in full & Hummer Limousines ended up covering the cost of our taxi fares (which is the least that they could do). So although we didn't end up out of pocket ... our memories of what should have been an experience of a life time were stolen from us. 6 months of anticipation after a hell few months prior ... my family really need something good to happen & this is what we got instead! We never did receive a personal phone call of apology, no flowers, no vouchers ... nothing! A goodwill gesture to show how sorry they actually were (instead of insulting us further with lame excuses) would have been nice to regain some sort of faith in this company but the fact that they couldn't even bring themselves to go above & beyond to do that after what they put us through has left us with a very bitter taste in our mouths. There is no such thing as customer care or service here & I can only imagine how devastating it would be for them to not show up for a bride on her special day. Our experience with this company has been appalling. The Scoopon deal was good value & their cars look awesome but I would not recommend them to anyone for fear of this happening again to someone else.
