City Cross store is always very busy but staff never fail to be helpful and cheerful. Nuts, lollies and dried fruits are always of high quality and super-fresh - great if you need to grab a quick snack.

You can get this stuff cheaper at the supermarket, but you get what you pay for and will never get the same level of freshness of a supermarket shelf. There is always something different on sale though, so keep an eye out for "Grab Bags" - $5 bags of a different nut of lolly that changes every week or so.

Good for a quick, hot pasta to takeaway at lunch, although prices have recently increased so it is not as good value as it once was.

Staff are generally okay but not overly friendly.

Food is good though, but avoid the garlic bread as it is very greasy.

New store in City Cross is much nicer - room to move without knocking everything over. Staff are polite and friendly and there is always something on sale to make it worth going in.

Best if looking for hard to find kitchen bits-and-pieces, and also good for novelty items.

Easy fish & chips/ chicken - pretty much what you would expect. Similar prices to elsewhere. Service is good, but not outstanding. Food is probably a little better than average.

Great store for quirky Asian gifts and novelty items, as well as k-pop merchandise.

I have only ever bought here for gifts and the store offers gift vouchers in $20, $30 and $50, as well as small bits and pieces that are great stocking-fillers.

Staff are friendly and helpful and the store is small and packed with interesting things to look at. They also often have sales, so check back often.

This survey rewards site is worth it if you put in a little time and be patient. Understand that you will frequently be "screened out" of a survey after completing more than 1/2 of it because they have enough responses like yours. It can get a bit frustrating but stick with it and you get rewards pretty regularly.

I've been using this site for just over a year and average earning a $20 giftcard/voucher every 8-12weeks. Vouchers are for JB Hifi, Coles, Woolworths, Dymocks, iTunes and many more.

As other users have noticed, there has been a slight decrease is service since Amazon took over, but for what is generally a far better price than you get get elsewhere, as well as free shipping, it's easy to live with.

Shipping is usually up to two weeks, but can take three.

Book Depository have 10% sales a few times a year, so use the wishlist to save your books and come back when you have a voucher - sign up for emails to make sure you get them.

NOTE: .com and .co.uk are often slightly different prices but can vary by a few $, so check both before purchasing to save a little extra.

I use this site mostly for DVD's, where their prices are very competitive and free shipping is always a bonus. Have not used to sell, only to buy.

For books, there are cheaper options - use booko.com.au to compare.

Do not use if you need items in a rush, or order for Christmas after mid-November, or you will be disappointed. Shipping is slow, but if you find the item at the best price and aren't in a hurry, this is the website to buy from.

I'm sure some people have a positive experience using this survey rewards site, but for me it was one of the worst I've tried - complete lack of customer service and still not sure how to redeem points.

Gave up after 6 months of limited surveys and no response to questions.

Use your time better elsewhere.

Best used with Rewards Central (which is used to be part of), this is another easy way to earn point that you can exchange for cash.

I have only ever transferred point to Rewards Central and redeemed from there, but surveys are frequent enough to make membership (which is free) worthwhile.

Remember to click on "instant win" once a week to earn quick easy points.

Never had any problems.
