This bakery is open 7 days, has good friendly service and a really good assortment of pies, pasties etc and pastries. They also make sandwiches/rolls to order. Their chicken and asparagus pie is really nice and I think their pastry is very good. I had a Beesting today - not at all traditional but not a bad version of it - although dare I say - it was actually a bit big. Easily enough for 2.

With three sushi bars at Marion, we're spoilt for choice. This one has delicious smoked eel with rice "bites" (not sure what they're called). Their salt and pepper squid is tender and tasty - wouldn't want it if it had been sitting in the warmer for too long though.

This is a small family run winery. They are friendly and welcoming and seem to be just really lovely people. As a mollydooker myself (lefty), I'm of course quite partial to this business. In saying that their wines, mostly reds, which I prefer, are really good wines. I particularly like The Boxer, The Scooter and The MaitreD'. Even their labels are great - creative, artistic (I believe they are works by Sarah - 1 of the 2 owners). Their cellar door is in a house, so not a charming stone and wood structure like you may expect, but they make you feel so welcome and give you a really enjoyable tasting experience.

This place used to be Fuze which closed down a few months ago. It's reopened with a new name, but judging by the food it has to be the same owner. Wait service is excellent - super bubbly and friendly. Food is as good as ever. Not as many tapas dishes as previously and more mains now, but the pork belly, pate, wedges and calamari are simply delicious. The portobello mushroom slider was overpowered by strong balsamic vinegar. They also have Mollydooker Wines by the glass which is a huge bonus - GREAT wines. Serves are a little small, so can add up... but still worth it.

Dined here recently after a long absence. The service was particularly terrible. The owner was rude and made us feel very uncomfortable. The food, although generous servings, was nothing special. Spaetzle were still good.

They don't stock much in the way of bakery items. They are however famous for, and rightly so, their Vietnamese rolls. They are perfect in every way. Crispy pork and perfectly pickled veg. Don't know how it took so long to find them.

In all honesty, I don't think too much of their pastries/buns or pies, pasties etc. However they started making vietnamese rolls a few months back and they are fantastic. If I was to nit pick, then the roll is a bit too crumbly for me, but the roast crackly pork is delicious and their pickled veg is spot on. There always seems to be a queue so be prepared to wait.

These guys specialise in brush fencing. On one side of our house we have brush fencing and on the other we had a falling down wooden fence. They wove their magic with our 20+ year old brush fence, making it look fresh and new again and built a beautiful new wooden fence on the other side. Extremely happy, would highly recommend.

Really looking forward to our Spanish tapas meal. Tried a number of dishes and there were hits and misses. The pork belly was delicious but small, the duck croquettes were mush and not at all pleasant - I suppose I was expecting pieces of meat not a puree. The patatas bravas had very little of the sauce I was expecting. The paella was not good. Chilli chicken wings were a bit hot for me but very moreish and delicious. Service was friendly and they had a great range of sangria - the cherry one was lovely.

Great place for breakfast (at lunch time). Nice outdoor area if you can get a seat, gets really busy Sunday mornings. Rustic comfy atmosphere. We both had The Works breakfast. Delicious but not very hot by the time it got to us. Wouldn't hold that against them though as it's a lovely place to sit and waste away a few hours.
