Really nice atmosphere, the sort of place where you enjoy sitting for a few hours over a leisurely lunch. Service is very attentive and friendly. The food was good. My husband is a burger connoisseur and he really enjoyed their ultimate burger - onions rings were good too. I really enjoyed their chicken schnitzel - they put sage in the crumbs which is a nice twist.

This is our local takeaway. The BBQ chickens are always moist, fresh and delicious. Chips are good as are the hamburgers. Occasionally we have the fish which is also good. Not really much to complain about. They're local, the food is good and they're friendly.
Called in here recently for a quick bite. Service was attentive. My husband really enjoyed his snapper, which was moist and flaky with not too much batter. I had the prawns, calamari and scallops. The prawns and calamari were delicious and well cooked, which with calamari is not always the case. The scallops were ok. I'd say they weren't a premium grade and quite small. The potatoes were great - nice change instead of chips.
There's a lot to like here, starting with Browny. He's a real Aussie down to earth guy who seems really passionate about what he does. He's friendly and helpful, if you need it. Delicious fish and chips - batter not too thick and a good choice of fish. He also stocks a lot of fresh and frozen fish. Apart from the delicious takeaway, we also bought some frozen North Sea cod - yum.
We ordered the slow cooked beef, lamb and suckling pig. The pig was delicious, the other two were nothing special unfortunately. There were 4 of us dining and we all felt the same. However, I would still return to try some of their flame grilled goodies which looked and smelt fantastic. Just think we didn't make the best choice for the type of restaurant. Hand cut chips were delicious.
Friendly place on the beachfront. Although you can eat in and their menu looks great, it's very well known and loved for it's fabulous takeaway fish and chips. We buy them often and then wander down to the beach to enjoy the sunset.
Location is lovely - right on the marina, which is a small one, but with loads of character and charm. We stopped here for drinks and nibbles. Loved the whitebait, fresh, crunchy and still meaty served in a cone. Oysters were fresh and delicious as were the prawns with cocktail sauce. The wings were a little hot for me, then again I'm a wuss, but my husband and friends loved them. Great spot to sit and watch the day go by.
Don't judge a book... as the saying goes. Looks a little outdated, but don't let that fool you. The service is super attentive (family business) and the seafood is fresh and delicious. The oysters, prawns and bugs were fresh and sweet. My husband loved his snapper fillets. There's also a discount if you eat early, which suited us having skipped lunch.
Hard to beat the location of this seaside restaurant, although with so much glass it can actually get quite glarey in summer. The food however is great. Fresh seafood, as you would expect, is well cooked and presented. Flathead is particularly yummy as are the freshly shucked oysters. Can become quite pricey.

Great service and a great atmosphere. The place always seems to be buzzing with activity making it feel vibrant and alive. The food is great. Particularly love the lamb souvlaki, although the mixed platters, either meat or seafood are also delicious. They have a good wine list and their homemade greek cakes are impossible to resist.
