this place is good for its bratwurst eoth fantasic service. It is not the 'usual' hot dog but it is more like a gourmet food type of hot dog. Their coleslaw also very good, hit the spot perfectly!

The new shop is around the corner of where Kailis is. I wasn't aware of the shop is there as too often I just went to Kailis or other waterfront restaurant. However, the service is friendly, good honest servings, the food is fresh and well cooked.

This is the usual place when I wanted a fish & chips. love their squid in a cup! the menu is with large selections, from grilled, battened, or different types of seafood and great taste! seats are limited in store, but since most people do take away now, always easy to get a seat. Sometime, if you can get a buy one free one docket, it is definately value for money.

Went to this place based on a recommendation from a local friend in the area. Wow, we just love it! especially love the burger around the fire during winter/ cold nights! Their Burgers are not greasy, very good portions, and delicious. However, don't go there if you are want a quick fix there's an easy 30 minute wait, or you can get the soup first!
Approximate cost: $15
The shop is located in the less popular side of Murray Street, but there are many small restaurants around the area, so the business are still good. If you want a resonable price aisan food in the city, this is THE shop. Like it for the cheap price and good value. The nasi lemak and the chicken rice are good.

I personally rate this as the best japanese noodle in town. The way that they only concentrate on a few things are good, I love their buckwheat soba noodles. They are so popular as I waited for 1 hour on a weekend. But the owner will take your mobile number and message you when your seats are available. Nice service but prepare to wait or go earlier!
Approximate cost: $10
Bonsai is definately a restuarant to go on a special occasion. Do not expect authentic japanese food as it's with new wave Japan/ chinese/ taiwanese's fusion foods. It is all about the ambience, modern, industry design restuarant with good foods - at least something different from others. Price is on the middle- high side:)
Approximate cost: $20
I haven't been to this restaurant for a while. Went there a couple of weeks ago and then noticed that maybe the management team has changed. The restuarant used to serve extra noodle free of charge, but the 'new' menu doesn't say so. The soup wasn't my taste- it's too salty and oily for me. will need to find a new place for ramen in town.

Went to this new dim sum place in town. We all love the previous managerment team so guess should give the new management team a try. Well, what I can say, is the dim sum is not as good as the previous shop, food seems to be steamed for a long time / oversteamed.
Approximate cost: $5
Have been there so many times because we all love their phat thai and curry beef. The dishes we love the most has to be the minced pork with basil. Portion are always massive! If you can't take chilli that well, better let the waitress when ordering as the food are authentic and very hot!
