What a great place. We had a great night at the golden ox, we were met at the door by staff, taken to our seats quickly and were made to feel vey welcome from the start. we ordered our meals they were presented very nicely- which is always a good start. The food tasted just as good. For us it got a three out of three- good service, great food and it was very well priced for what we received.

I went here for my birthday- just myself and my husband. We went to the bar upstair were the service was prompt, friendly and they went to extra lengths to help us choose our drinks. Again down stair the service was excellent. The atmosphere is pretty good- they also remembered on arrival that it was my birthday- there wasnt a big fuss it was just mentioned which was really nice. The food was very good- everything was fresh, well prepared and presented well.
