Beware of Gurkhas travels, they are biggest scammers, the address they are advertising on google for their office in Melbourne has been shut since 2020, so they don't have any base in Australia and all their sales staff is sitting in India, if you are planning to buy tickets from them think twice as in case u had to change dates u will pay almost equivalent to buying a new ticket or in case u have to cancel tickets u won't get the refund at all no matter what they promise to you prior to buying tickets, i wish i had gone through the reviews before buying tickets with them, i did the biggest mistake of my life by booking 4 tickets amounting $7290 with Gurkhas travels, unfortunately i had to cancel those tickets and i was promised refund after deduction of $480 per person ( airline charges $260+ Gurkhas charges $220 per person), but they never refunded the money, its almost 14 weeks and every time i enquire with them they blame the airline for not refunding money, i did call Singapore airlines who informed me that Gurkhas has never applied for the refund and as i was getting in touch with airline they sent numerous emails to Gurkhas to act on and apply for refund but Gurkhas never replied to their emails, and when i raised this issue with Gurkhas they totally denied it and asked for written proof from airline which airline will not provide as they sold tickets to Gurkhas who have then sold it to me, AS i am not a direct customer of airline and because of confidentiality they wont give anything in written and thus Gurkhas is using it as a loophole to not provide refund, so basically they will never provide refund as they have done to hundreds of people before and when i called them after 14 weeks and had a verbal altercation with their travel consultant on phone he said do whatever u want money will not be refunded, i have reported them to ACCC, VICORIA consumer affairs and waiting for their reply and my next step would be going to vcat and then probably civil court , i hope no one else has to go through this so PLEASE DONT BUY TICKETS FROM THEM BECAUSE IF U HAD TO CANCEL U WILL NOT GET THE REFUND AND IN CASE U HAVE TO CHANGE DATES U WILL PAY ALMOST EQUIVALENT TO WHATEVER U PAID FOR THE INITIAL TICKET
