Visited this place on a voucher for natural eye lash extensions. The whole procedure took about 40 minutes and the technician was fairly skilled at it. The quality of the lashes were really good, mink, which is the more expensive type. Usually this costs $99 and $60 for refillls. With a voucher this was a really good deal even though Prahran is a bit far out the way and parking is terrible around here.

This is a bar and karaoke lounge offering asian inspired tapas style foods. The drinks are very reasonably priced if you go during their happy hours on Thursday and Friday nights. The food is a hit and miss. The place is easy to miss as it is upstairs in Chinatown. Atmosphere is quite nice with oriental antique look and feel.

Quaint restaurant located in one of those old terrace houses in East Melbourne. Served authentic and tasty Mediterranean food, although wine prices are a bit steep. Great service from staff. Parking is free after 6:30pm outside the restaurant and on Victoria Parade.

Salsa dance classes held at Copacabana upstairs room every Thursday night. The instructors are very professional and they run through technique as well which is usually not offerred at most salsa classes held in bars or clubs. They have 3 different levels of classes right up to advanced and they give you a free bottle of water as well. These guys also organise a monthly salsa party.

Unlike the Hoyts premiere, with Gold Class you don't get any free food or drinks. It costs $30 per ticket, which I don't think is worth it given that the only difference is better seats and less people. Doncaster cinemas are fairly new though and you can ask them to validate your parking ticket to get hrs free parking instead of 3 hrs.

This place is a ripoff. I ordered a regular yoghurt and the girl only filled the tub to half full. I finished it in 2 mouthfuls. I will definitely not come back.

Great buffet with lots of variety and very fresh foods. It costs $37.50 for weekend lunch and $19.50 for weekday lunch the only difference being a plate seafood on weekends which you are only allowed one plate of. YOu have to pay extra for drinks at the bar. I do not suggest weekend lunch. The dessert choice is plentiful, lots of pandan options, Skip the icecream though as it is watery. Overall not bad buffet.

This studio offers Cuban salsa classes at Copacabana each Tuesday night and at other venues on other weeknights. The pros is you can turn up and pay $19, you don't need to enrol. The cons is they don't teach technique at all, just steps so for people that can't dance it still looks pretty awful. Also lots of sleazy men trying to take advantage of girls. I do not recommend.

This place offers free dance lessons for beginners on Wednesday and Thursday at 6pm. You get what you pay for, it is very easy and simple but great way to mingle with strangers as it is free and the instructors are fun. The more advanced classes require payment and you can't just turn up and pay but need to enrol in a multi week course. I prefer the other salsa studios around Meloburne as they are pay as you go.

Professional instructors, authentic salsa moves and great atmosphere to learn salsa. They run classes for all different levels all throughout the week at different venue around Melbourne. Cost is $15 for a 1 hour group lesson and less if you take 2 classes on the same night. They also have a 10 class card for $120.
