Used to like the Penang char kuay teow here. Just went last night and was disappointed. Kuay teow was overcooked and dry and though I asked for Hot out of a choice of Hot, Medium or Mild, I could hardly taste any chilli flavour at all. The Assam laksa has also gone down, soup was not as tasty as before. Special of the day was Lor Mee and that tasted alright but the lor mee I know has a thicker gravy. Will try it again in case the cook was off last night!

Enjoyed the seafood saganaki, other dishes were also good. Loved the live music. The customers joined in the singing but not too loudly so it was a great atmosphere. Will go again as we left too early this time for the dancing.

The value is unbeatable. It costs something like $7 for 10 good sized dumplings. I think the price depends on the filling. It tastes pretty good, too. The place is very basic in decor, so go for the value, not the ambiance.

Went there to change tyres for a Honda Civic. Staff were helpful in recommending options. Service was really quick. We went for a walk around the Kmart Garden Centre for about 20 minutes and it was all done.

Had the bulgogi beef and marinated chicken skewers. Food was satisfactory. Fire smoked a lot though. Service was good.

My daughter and I went for a dental check up. Found service to be satisfactory. Before making the appointment, I asked the nurse if they were on the HBA preferred panel and she said "yes". Under HBA, children under 24 are fully covered for all dental. However, I had to pay a gap payment for my daughter for a checkup and scaling. At other HBA panel dentists I go to, my children are fully covered. Not happy about the nurse getting that wrong!

They have this deal where you can get pair of glasses from a limited range with no out of pocket if you have medical insurance. They also throw in a few pairs of disposable contacts which were probably samples they got for free. I was in a rush to get a pair of lasses by year end so I got it. Later found much better options at Kingsway Optical in Glen Waverley. Slightly higher prices but I think the qualty of the frames were better too. Eye check at MV was satisfactory but I hear the Caucasian guy, has since left. I think all Mastervision cared about was getting the maximum claim from your insurance so they could earn more.

Ordered a meatlovers and a smoked salmon pizza. Got a meatlovers and a seafood. They offered to make the salmon one if I could wait. So I did. They ended up giving me the seafood one as well. Pizza had a great crust and tasted delicious, especially like the salmon one. For the amount of topping you get, I think their pizzas are good value.

Went for a check up. Scaling was so quick that you really wonder if it made a difference to have it done at all. Check up was also quick and left you feeling that he would have missed a cavity unless it was huge. I do expect more care from a dentist.

Looking for a house to rent. The agent seemed to want to finish showing the house the moment she opened the door. We had not even looked through all the rooms when she sad she had another appointment and she had to go. She locked the side door leaving my children outside. Appalling unprofessional behaviour.
