I have been to gingerboy a number of times and really enjoy eating here. The food is really delicious and the cocktails so lovely. I recently booked a function at gingerboy for 14 people just before Christmas and the experience on the night as well as during the booking process was above expectations. We had a couple in our group that had very specific and tricky dietary restrictions and the staff handled it perfectly. The chef made the effort to adapt some of the meals to suit our companions as well as catering to everyone else's tastes at the same time. I was very impressed. Our waiter was wonderful too. I would certainly recommend for either a function or dinner with friends. Oh, and the banquets are huge, so you never leave feeling hungry!

Great choice of carpets. Staff were pretty helpful, although a number of our first choices of carpets stocked on the floor turned out to be unavailable. But we were only told once we placed the order which was a little annoying. The installation process was also frustrating. The installers failed to show up on two separate occasions, and after the installation, left the skirting boards with a fair bit of damage. Whilst the installation seems to be contracted out to another company, it really soured our experience. We wouldn't use them again.

We had two wardrobes fitted by regency over the last 12 months. Our first experience wasn't great and we were in some ways locked into using them a second time regrettably. On both occasions the sales team were helpful. But that's where it ends. We had to chase them up about booking in the installation. We didn't receive a confirmation call beforehand and then on the day they just didn't show up. When we called to find out why, there was no explanation. We finally had them agree to reschedule for the next day, but when they showed up they didn't have all our fittings, so we had to reschedule again. When the job was finally done, there were chips in the wardrobes. Not impressed. The staff were unhelpful and didn't once return a call after the standard "I'll have to check that and call you back in 5 mins" response to any request.

Good spot for brunch. Always busy but service is usually pretty quick, and food on the table before you know it. Like the choice of breakfast options - the corncakes are lovely.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere and food here. It's a British themed menu and offers some lovely surprisingly good food. Service is outstanding. Will visit again.

A great place for a cold drink on a warm day. But we decided to try the restaurant recently and were very disappointed. After arriving we were told it would be a 20 minute wait and they put our names on the wait list, so we returned to the bar for a drink. After 40 minutes we returned to find a number of tables empty and no acknowledgement from the staff of our request for a table. Once seated, we were given the wine list but no food menus. We requested a menu to help with our choice of drink but had to wait for 10 minutes, despite our table being the closest to the staff station. In that 10 minutes we had no less that 4 staff try to take our drink order and whilst we repeated our request for food menus this didn't speed up the process. Unfortunately, once the menu arrived, the waiter didn't take us through the complex menu options. We did enjoy our food once it arrived, but the service let it all down. We have visited their sister establishment at middle park hotel and have to say it was so much better.

A brilliant little tapas bar. Have visited on many occasions and loved it every time. Sometimes hard to get a table at busy times but the staff are always helpful giving a reliable estimate. Good for an intimate dinner before a show, or for catching up with friends. Staff have always been great and friendly, and went out of the way to help one of my friends with dietary restrictions. The atmosphere is brilliant too. Love, love, love this place.

Awesome food. We ordered the banquet option and were stunned by how good it was. There was probably too much food, but it was so good! Only warning is that your clothes and hair smell of sizzling meat afterwards.

Great Chinese food. Certainly the best in the area. The banquets are wonderful and I love the peking duck here. We've visited a number of times and have never had a bad meal. There is takeaway menu too. The staff are generally pretty attentive and helpful with menu choices and suggestions. The atmosphere can be a little lacking if the restaurant isn't completely full, but we soon forget when the food arrives.

Cute little restaurant for Japanese takeaway. Love the gyoza and naked bento box. Beware the volume of food is huge! But absolutely lovely food. Can eat in too, but seating is limited.
