This review is for Buttercups Cup Cakes, Cooroy QLD

I found this shop unexpectedly as, in this little rural town, for many years it has been impossible to buy a birthday cake. I saw a sign that said Cup Cakes and checked it out. The owner went out of her way to be helpful and explained she was trying to build up her business and in time wanted to add cheesecakes to her range. Everything is made from scratch and she also does cake decorating classes as well. I wish her well and hope she survives the current economic climate. Luckily she has the help of her mother-in-law which is an added bonus to allow her to keep creating her wonderful cupcakes through to wedding cakes. Look here and support a new local business.

This is one of the better Australia Post Post Shops - the staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. No matter what your query is, they can help you. They carry the usual range of Post Office supplies but also that bit extra. They have a range of handcrafts made by local artisans including handmade cards, goats' milk soaps and other little gifts that may just fill the need for a gift that you have forgotten. Check this Post Shop out for a helpful, friendly environment with some last-minute gifts that could get you out of a pickle LOL.

This is a lovely family-owned and run business. You can pick up all your ink supplies, as well as all your Jaycar catalogue supplies which saves you having to go further afield on the Sunshine Coast. The service is so friendly and if it isn't on hand, they will order it in for you. If it's something a bit out of the ordinary, they will try and track it down and give you a quote on the price before ordering it in, if that's what the customer wants. Overall, a wonderful experience with lovely, friendly people. Wish them well and hope they continue to stay in Cooroy.

The staff here are very helpful, from the chemist on duty down to the rest of the knowledgeable staff. They will go out of their way to provide you with as much helpful service, be it in regard to pharmaceutical enquiries or other products available in-store. You can purchase cosmetics, perfumes, or even that gift for someone special in your life in the one place at the Cooroy Guardian Pharmacy. Their large range of gift lines must surely be the largest around and suit even the most fastidious recipient. Visit there and you won't be disappointed. You never know, you just might walk out with something you have been looking for for yourself for ages!

This review is for Maple Street Surgery, Cooroy QLD

The doctors, nurses and reception staff here are all very caring and try to do their very best by their patients. They try to give same-day appointments for as many patients, including new patients, as possible. This is not always possible in peak flu seasons but as near as you can possibly get. There are currently 7 doctors on shift a day with 3 nurses and they give it their all. They do general health care, skin care, work site injuries, ongoing health care for people with long-term conditions - they do the whole range. There is also a psychologist who comes in and sees patients there. The reception staff are second-to-none in their quest to help everyone and ensure their visit to their local doctor is as painless as can possibly be. The nursing staff are exceptionally dedicated and caring and are in for the long haul should you have a long-term need. All in all, by far the best surgery to go to should you be looking for a caring environment with highly skilful practitioners.

If you are looking for something to do some repairs around your property, go to Sauers and you'll most likely find it. If it's not there, the guys will help source it for you. If you're looking for feed for your cattle, horses, poultry or small animals, you'll find it there also. All animals are catered for in all aspects. If you want to beautify your property, go to Sauers and if you're wanting to feed your family in this ever-increasing necessity-based world, go to Sauers for their great range of seedlings and seeds to suit your needs be it for heritage range seedlings and seeds or just the normal run-of-the-mill range, it's all there for you in the one place. This review is for Richie's Bakery, Cooroy QLD

These people churn out our daily bread and offer service with a smile! The prices are higher than supermarket prices but then the quality of bread is better - it tastes like bread used to taste. They have cakes like grandma used to bake at a reasonable price and some other special treats to make your mouth water. Also, a range of pies and rolls for the tradies as well. Overall, a great little place to go to pick up your bread and maybe that special little something your tastebuds are telling you they need ...
