I always buy my computer and related from Harvey Norman at SupaCentre Moore Park as the staff are helpful and seem to care and good value products and services. I bought my last desktop computer 3 years ago with all the related software and paid for the standard fee for data transfer done by Phan the technician and he successfully transferred everything including emails and I was very impressed. Update to 2016 and I just had to buy another desktop and do the data transfer again and after 4 days of 'transfer' I picked up my computer and all emails have been lost and also deleted from the Optus server and having rung Optus, they told me that emails cannot be retrieved. I have called the service centre 5 times, left messages and no-one gets back to me as they are very "busy". Very upset as I am self employed and have lost so much business +++ data. No-body seems to be on top of the job with a different tech everyday. I am sorry to say Harvey Norman that you have dropped your quality of work and I am stuffed and cannot get any of my email data back. Imagine what that would do to your business? It seems that the service centre is so popular that you are shooting yourself in the foot by not having sufficient staff or skilled staff to do the work.
