Club Toowoomba is a hidden gem. Meals are very reasonably priced (from $14 and up), and they are delicious. If you're an able bodied person, this would be my number one place to go for lunch. A healthy, nutritious meal for $14 - it's cheaper than a takeaway meal. Staff are very friendly and obliging too. Loved going here, unfortunately their disabled access leaves a lot to be desired. There is no nominated disabled parking, ramp access isn't safe as it's very steep and doesn't meet the standard gradient for people with a disability. The worst for disability accessibility was the toilets which were not only extremely low, but there was only a door handle nailed into the wall (in lieu of a proper grab rail) and the toilet roll holder that a person could use to leverage themselves up off the toilet. A member of our lunch party had to have 3 goes at trying to get up from the toilet. So bottomline? It's an awesome place to go for able-bodied people, however, we won't be going there again.
