The doctors at Collins street Medical Centre are well referred and can be well recommended. The support staff I.e. the reception staff are an absolute disaster. Clare and Marlene two staff at reception are rude, uncaring and do not provide the necessary follow-up in patient care with regard to simple tasks as answering queries related to invoices. The practice manager at Collins street medical centre appears to be lacking in her role too not being available at any time to respond to patient inquiries.
The Reception staff at Collins Street Medical centre have to be replaced. What is Fullerton Australia thinking???
Clare is abrupt, offhand and uncaring in her interactions with patients. She does not seem to be efficient enough to complete her tasks and leaves patient queries unanswered for several days. I had to call several time to print follow-up relating to my doctors appointment.
Marlene should be sacked with immediate effect. She keeps patients who call on hold for ten minutes and over and keeps says the fault is with her headset!!!!! Marlene does this each time I call and has been repeating this practice for as long as the few years I have attended this clinic. This unacceptable behaviour has not been directed just to myself as a patient but I have observed this behaviour to other patients while I have been in the vicinity of the reception at this clinic.
The Practice Manager seems to be ineffective in her role and unable to run the day-to-day operations of the clinic effectively. As always she is not contactable at whichever hour of the day one tries to reach her.
Fullerton Health being a reputed brand name in the health industry. Are you going to train your reception staff to align with your core value of “Compassion” or allow these small minded inefficient and uncaring people to create a black mark on your Fullerton Health Brand??
