Their Café looks simply gorgeous with an upstairs view as well plus a big Play Pen area for the kids to play in, so they will want to accompany you to the Nursery when you have the itch to buy a few additional plants, whatever.

They have a big stock of Hardware and Home Items you can purchase a well. Far too much in this shopping complex to mention here. Deliveries for all types of Soil Etc Tiles and Planters for outdoor areas……you name it, possibilities are you will find just the right Items to suit your needs. Not to mention the little Nic-Nac surprises throughout the store.

I especially like their Nursery Staff, they are delightful and always willing to help – Beginner Gardeners and Avid Gardeners alike. They always take good care of all their trees, plants and seedlings on display - something I respect them for.

FRESH FLAVOURS OF VIETNAM right in the Harbor shopping centre. This lady is always happy to see us in our holiday times when we are over that way. This is one of the best kept secrets of Victor Harbor but not to locals who know her well.

Don't miss the opportunity to try her TASTY CUISINE if you are visiting the area. Our absolute favourite is the LEMONGRASS CHICKEN BAGUETTE (Vietnamese Roll) crisp and crunchy, a really big serve for $9.00 she has 5 Varieties in her display counter.

She makes a good Rice Bowl for $12.00, Savory Steamed Buns with Salad in them for $5.00 each and Cold Rice Paper Rolls for $7.00 with Lemon Chicken and Prawns etc

WHOLESALE PRICES FOR SHOPPERS! “Incredible Specials Everyday” that’s true, read their Facebook page! This is a really good place I noticed when driving pass on my way to the City some months ago. I was so impressed with the vast array of Grocery Items they have in different size packages etc including Bulk Buys! My favorites are their PANEER (Indian Cheese Cubes) in the fridge section and the FINE MAIZE FLOUR (Grewal Makki Atta) really fresh, produced here in Australia!

They stock a lot of Indian Groceries, many that Health Conscious People and Big Families can use. You should have a browse in this store - you will find so many surprises.

“A Huge variety of fresh fruit and veg, amazing amount of dry goods. Easily my favourite Indian grocery. Very friendly service as well” someone said on Google. Another favourite of mine is the nice Big Bunch of Fresh Celery they sell, Crisp and Healthy.

According to their Facebook page today, they had Strawberries 2 punnets $1.00, Lettuces 99c each, Tomatoes $1.99 per kilo, Eggplant 99c per kilo, Avocadoes 49c each, Broccoli $1.99 per kilo, Red Delicious Apples 99c per kilo, 10 kilo bag Red Onions $1.99. Last week they had the same special for Strawberries and Broccoli, Avocados 39c each, Cauliflowers for $1.99 each, 5 kilo Red Potatoes $1.99 and Green Capsicums $1.99 per kilo. How’s that!?

Do I work for them? No….. Am I promoting them? YES for Free because these are unbelievable prices and I am happy to go there when I can. The Indian Staff there are polite, helpful and courteous. ENJOY!

Previously MR INDIA . They used to make really great meals, we waited a long time to be served. New Owners were quicker and serve Mexican as well. We suggest you keep to finger food if you go here - should be alright and the atmosphere is ambient. But please don't order Butter Chicken unless you like it Very Mild. Sorry to say it did not taste anything like we're accustomed to or like Mr India had (not remotely - something's wrong).

For those who want good Restaurant standard, their Mains may not be what you expect for an Indian Meal.

Wow! What a lot of patrons they have. A small bakery with a big variety. Staff always welcoming. We go there every holiday time twice a year. We love their Apricot Strudels (a generous amount of fruit in them). Their pies are a bit small but tasty. They pack the taste into their bakery items. Be prepared for the lineup there is outside of this bakery most times because their food is so good! Their Vanilla Slice and Apricot Slice are really delicious!

Now called CHIERA & SONS FRESH MARKET. I love to visit this shopping centre sometimes just to go to this fruit and veg store - yes Everything IS Always Fresh! And their Sale Items often remarkable prices! I sometimes buy my eggplants and tomatoes there - really good - and their Swedes are so fresh, tasty delicious, I steam them with my other veggies. Personal service there.

They also have specialised sturdy shopping bags you would have to see to believe, they are so good! I get comments about mine when shopping locally. Plenty of variety market items, my favourite is always fruit and veggies - that's just me - I like my produce FRESH. You will be looked after there.

2018 - 2019 Used to be the best bakery in Middleton, opposite the Middleton Tavern. A variety of savoury items in particular - there is a selection of pasties as well as the pies. Genuine chunky steak pies Their staff are always politely spoken. There Cornish pasties are really great.

2020 - 2021 The last several times we were there when passing through, their pies and pasties were way overbaked in the warmer and dry - especially when young staff are there on weekends.

This is so sad really because they have pumpkin in their pasties - they were really tasty but over heating wrecks that. Would be good if they improved. They need to be more careful.

Please Note: This company with 3 branches has now changed ownership - pies and pasties that were superb are very sub-standard. We have to go elsewhere these days.

Congratulations to establishment! They have found a way they can still run this self serve restaurant since the Pandemic. They now give assistance along the counters with clear windows along them for hygiene. We show them what we want and they fill our plates for us - this makes their service even better than it was already. Everyone is still happy. We love this Family Restaurant and wish them well always. What a pity some self-serve diners have not thought of this - such a great success, the way they did this for their patrons. They like to keep everyone happy!

We noticed this lovely big colourful place on our way to our holidays at Victor Harbour and Port Elliot 3 years ago and we stop there to and from our holiday spot every time because they have lots of fabulous fruit and spicy specialty items plus the best pies and pasties around. I really enjoy their rhubarb and fig jams (there are others) and their chutneys are really great too. Lots of other specialty items like bottles of quality olive oil etc and their own range of snacks. Too many interesting items to mention! Browse and buy. The staff are really nice and welcoming. Hi there, I'm updating my review for Chillies at Newton 2020 We have been dining there weekly to fortnightly for some years now - we still love it like we did at first. I used to have Beef Kashmirri or Curried Veggies every time - my absolute favorites. Recently, I have been ordering Beef Korma and also Beef Madras many times - my absolute new favourite! I like to order a meal to take home as well, each time we have Lunch there.

Oh Yum, I thought I would like to try one of my sister's favourites there, last time we went - the Vegetable Biryani - it's absolutely fabulous! We have never been disappointed there, with their standard for TASTE and Service. Wish they were closer, so we could go more often, so I bought 3 Meals Today. At $10.90 for their Lunch Special on Thursday and Friday, it is affordable to do that sometimes. Thank You Chillies, for our many hours of PLEASURE we have there. We wish you well.
