A really great business that I will be happy to support from now on. Dimitri does an amazing job and left my very dirty carpet and upholstery in outstanding condition. He is very friendly, quick and efficient and Veronica is also a pleasure to deal with. I can't recommend them highly enough. Prices are very good too.

Really tasty fish and chips and great service. The batter on the fish fillet I had was crunchy and tasty (despite a 20 minute ride home in the car) and the chips were that perfect combination of crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. Service is friendly and efficient. I will have to go back to try more items on the menu.

I had three rings remodelled at Eltham Midway Jewellers and I am thrilled with the results. The quality of their work is outstanding and their prices are very reasonable. The staff are very friendly and creative and came up with an idea for the new design for the rings that I had not thought of. I know of others who have shopped here and also been very pleased with their purchases. They have a very nice range of jewellery and they go out of their way to help you. Highly recommended and I will be going back.

Top Bakery provides the usual assortment of breads and rolls at very reasonable prices, however my main reason for shopping here is their range of slices and tarts. In particular, they make an apple and blueberry crumble slice which is just divine (especially heated gently and served with cream). Everything in their display cabinet is wonderful and I also love their custard tarts, fruit tarts and vanilla slice. The ladies here are very friendly and sometimes I get a bag of bread rolls for free! It's located in a small shopping centre across from the factory outlet centre and there are lots of other quality retailers here. I make a special trip just to go to this bakery!

Academy Uniforms provides school uniforms to a range of schools in the Melbourne area. The quality of their uniforms is great and it is nice to see that they are Australian made. Apart from their shop at Thomastown, they run small uniform shops at schools. The staff are efficient and very friendly but don't leave your uniform shopping too late or you will be waiting in a long queue. They do take secondhand uniforms for sale in the school shops however they do request that they be drycleaned (by you) before submitting them for sale. I don't know about others, but any secondhand uniform I buy will be washed before my children wear it, so I think the cost of drycleaning is a waste and makes your return on selling the uniform pretty close to nothing. Using websites like www.sustainableschoolshop.com.au is a better way to sell secondhand.

Fantastic Asian grocery store with large range of products at good prices. Much needed in this area. The staff are friendly and welcoming and they speak English fluently. I am particularly impressed with the range of products on offer and they even stock beautifully fresh Asian vegetables. I've been waiting for something like this in our local area and at last it's here. I'll be going back!

I go to Spoilt Beauty Boutique regularly to have my eyebrows waxed and dyed. The staff there are always friendly and very welcoming. I find their prices are very reasonable for what you get and I love the idea of supporting a local business. It's usually easy to get a carpark and it's always a pleasure to shop at Montmorency anyway!

We had a Velux roof window installed in our bathroom to increase light and ventilation. We couldn't be more happy with the job done by Diamond Skylights. The workmanship and quality are outstanding and the staff are all wonderful to deal with. Nothing is too much trouble and the whole job was completed to perfection and on time. We recommend them very highly!

Chemist Direct offers a great range of products at prices that are comparable to Chemist Warehouse. It looks like they have addressed their delivery problems and now my orders turn up within a week (I usually get an email notification stating they have been dispatched on the same day that I order). Very glad to see they have done this so now it makes it really worthwhile ordering from them. Plus, if you add your email address to their mailing list then they let you know when they offer free shipping (usually on Fridays) so you can take advantage of this if you wish.
