This review is for Colourpatch Cafe, Augusta WA

It's a tradition of mine to visit this wonderful cafe every time I'm in Augusta. Famously known as the last cafe before Antarctica, it sits by the banks of the Blackwood River and is the perfect place for breakfast or lunch. The food tastes great and the seafood is fresh. It is worth nothing that the dining in menu is markedly different in price to the takeaway menu. Taking away fish & chips and eating it fresh on a bench by the river is also lovely. The place is easy to find with plenty of directions and signs along the way. Definitely worth checking out if you are around Augusta :)

Great place to come if you are after delicious Chinese food. The lunch specials are amazing value - generous portions and yummy food for ~$10 a dish. Good variety of different foods and I have yet to be disappointed by them. The roasts are a must-try. It's a good place to come for family gatherings as they can accommodate a large number of people and have big round tables that will sit 10-15 people comfortably. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit :)

This review is for The Prophet Restaurant, East Victoria Park WA

Came to The Prophet with a group of friends after it was highly recommended by a friend. The food was average - some of our koftas were a little dry and the cauliflower dish, although delicious, was very salty. The hummus was excellent though, highly recommend that dish. The complimentary bread and dip appetizer was a nice way to start our meal. The dishes are on the pricey end and this is a restaurant I am unlikely to frequent or visit again in the near future. It could just be that particular chef that day, but overall a slightly disappointing experience. That said, it was quite busy and seemed to be a popular restaurant for lovers of Mediterranean cuisine.

This review is for Adamson's Riverside Accommodation, Margaret River WA

I stayed at Adamson's Riverside Accommodation with two girlfriends as part of a bridal party getaway before the big day. We loved our little apartment! It was cosy and comfortably fit the three of us. The apartment was well-equipped with the essentials and we lacked nothing. The place was easy to find and is very close to the Margaret River city centre - easily walking distance away yet tucked away from much of the hustle and bustle. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely consider coming back here when I am looking for a place to stay in Margaret River next time.

This review is for Watershed Winery, Margaret River WA

We visited Watershed Winery one Sunday afternoon for lunch and it was such a delightful experience. The restaurant overlooks the beautiful winery and is the perfect setting to enjoy a lovely lunch with some girlfriends. The food did not disappoint us and was fitting for this beautiful location. We also ordered a dessert platter which took a while to come (the waitress took note of this), but was a wonderful finish to our lunch. The staff were lovely and really hospitable.

This is a great place to spoil yourself and others over lunch when you are down south - highly recommend it to anyone who is after a great lunch experience. Best to make reservations if you do not want to be disappointed.

Great place for pizza lovers! Their pizzas are one of the best around :) real generous with the toppings which makes for deliciousness in every bite. Love the meat lovers and there's a good variety of different flavour pizzas as well. Best eaten when it's fresh out of the oven, definitely recommend dining in for this. Come with a bunch of friends so you can enjoy the goodness and try out different pizzas together :)

This review is for Bad Apples Bar, Ardross WA

Came to Bad Apples Bar to catch up with two girlfriends over dinner on a Monday night. The interior of the place is decorated quite nicely - there's a nice covered outdoor seating area which would be perfect for pleasant nights. The staff are friendly and welcoming, happy to engage in conversations with their patrons. Food is yummy and well-prepared, though the portion sizes are not very generous. Drinks were great. Do note that they do not have a takeaway license as well, so avoid ordering in excess if possible. It is a nice place to come for a chill night out with friends :)

I visited this vegan cafe with a friend and we thoroughly enjoyed the food :) It was delicious and healthy, very well prepared. The owners are friendly and always eager to lend a helping hand. The minimart is stocked full of wonderful, quality food. The cafe is quite small but there is outdoor seating, great for enjoying good weather and people-watching. Highly recommend this cafe especially for people with special dietary requirements - it might become a regular food joint!

This review is for Chilliz, Nedlands WA

This is a great place to come if you are after cheap food. Most of the dishes are under $5 and there's a good variety of different flavours of asian food. Good value for $5 - the food is tasty and there's a generous serving of rice to fill you up. I love drenching my container with the sauces provided at the shop - definitely gives the rice more flavour. I frequently go there for the bellissimo chicken. There is often a long queue during lunch time, but it moves fairly quickly so don't let that deter you.

Approximate cost: $4.50

Love this place! I've been to Margaret River many times but only visited this gem on my last visit down south. It is a lovely little cafe in a beautiful setting, perfect place for breakfast. I came with 2 friends to enjoy brunch at 10am - we shared a pot of tea as well as the scones and boysenberry pie. The scones were lovely and delightful, and the boysenberry pie was wonderfully delicious! It came fresh out of the oven and we couldn't get enough of it. Watch out for the cute little blue birds - they wander around the tables and help themselves to the whipped cream from the scones :)

I will definitely be back the next time I head down south and highly recommend this place to anyone who loves some scones to accompany their tea. Absolutely delightful!
