As is the case, new owners will always be measured up to the old ones. Steve and Kate have a hard act to follow considering Luciano came 2nd in Australia's best Pizza cook award (only due to having to use a gas oven instead of wood fired!) I have been twice since the new owners took over and they are pretty good.

THE best sourdoughs you will ever eat. The fruit sourdough is to die for. Potato sourdough is highly recommended also. The chocolate cake is so smooth and is like velvet in your mouth. They also sell pies which are pretty good too. Service is ok but I don't believe it affects the overall rating in this case.

Friendly, flexible staff. Great food. I asked for a coffee thickshake which was not on their menu. They happily ad-libbed one for me and it was great.

Top quality produce and great prices. The owner is generous supporting charities and usually buying the first box of the season to support charities.
