I got 4 brand new tyres from a Mitsubishi Triton as the owner had changed them for off road tyres.
I asked Jeff of Mycar if he could fit them on my car and do a wheel alignment check. He refused citing it was not company policy to fit customer supplied tyres. I asked why and he said it was because there may be warranty issues if they were grey imports. He advised that grey imports could be identified by the writing on them.
I said my tyres were off a brand new Triton and not grey imports and he could verify this by checking the writing on them. He still refused to fit them.
I then asked him if he would fix a puncture on a tyre which was a grey import and he said yes. Unbelievable!!!
The bottom line is this company only wants you to buy their tyres at rip off prices.
I will not be wasting my time with them again for tyres, servicing or anything else.
