One of my fav sushi joints in Brisbane. Fantastic menu, ranging from basic Chicken Katsu, tuna to something a little more expensive like fresh sashimi. Always busy which is a good sign more people feel the same as me. Love the take away packs, more then enough for one person. A great spot too, you get everything you need with its location.

Approximate cost: $13

I like this place for a beverage. Tiki bar is V cool, but V crowded on a Saturday night and it takes a long while to get a drink. Downstairs on the main deck is quicker service. I tried the Quineoa (however u spell it!) salad and was so disappointed! It was actually left uneaten on my plate after a few mouth fulls. It tasted like a mouthful of Ocean water-WAY too salty!! The description was amazing, but it certainly did not deliver. The meat looked amazing, so perhaps go carnivore. Great selection of wines-Im always stoked when there is a Chilean wine on the menu!

Approximate cost: $15-25

Such a great place to kill a chocolate craving. The fondue for two is always great as is the waffles! I find the hot chocolate not as rich as u would expect either...

A great Sunday market in Brisbane. A nice variety of fruit and vege. I love the trash and treasure too. I personally think they need more ready made food. Maybe more healthy options. They have a Colombian juice bar (not sure if they are still there) that's as healthy as it gets. The music guy Elias-spanish guitar, is there some weekends and he is a great person to listen to while eating some breakfast.

This place has been around for a very long time. It is such a great icon of West End. A cozy cool unique setting... I love the Chai bowls! They always have the best selection of freshly baked cakes in the window. A little pricey at $7 a slice but a decent slice to be shared. A very basic toasted sandwich and pizza menu too. Sometimes hard to find a spot on a Friday or Saturday night and the line up is out the door somedays...

Approximate cost: $5-15

i have only shopped here a few times but have found it great really. Always different stuff here but i find it very easy to over shop! They always have specials for more then 2 or 3 things purchased of the same thing. And then you might find the expiry is close...So be careful with this :-)

Always a great place to kill a chocolate fix. The brownie is my fav, which i order every second time i think! The chocolate dumplings are also out of this world. Rich! Delicious! Amazing! Most desserts i think should be shared as they are decadent. Prices are high, which is always another good reason to share :-)

I think the best thing about this salon is the basins! I love that you can practically lay down while you get your hair washed...very relaxing..and you have the option of the chair massaging you. The downside is the cost. This is why i make my cuts last months not weeks.

Approximate cost: $80-110 cut

Miss India is always a easy quick meal. Always a consistant delicious taste and value for money is great. The staff here are friendly too. I love all of their Vegetarian options. They are always fairly busy which is probably a good thing with food turn around.

Approximate cost: $10

I love this place for the quick service, the vege laksa and the homemade lemonade! This place is always busy-which is a good sign but they always make space for you or there is a little wait. The take away window for drinks is also a nice touch. A great bubble tea selection. Overall cheap and satisfying...always a BIG meal too!

Approximate cost: $12
