An amazing selection of Asian & Western goodies on offer here. From Lobster Thermidor to sandwiches to every type of Asian noodle, rice, soup, meat & stir fried dish you can imagine. They even do sushi an pasta bolognese!
How good is this place? They have something on the menu for every body - no matter how "picky" & fussy you are. So if mum & dad feel like something spicy or exotic & the little ones are after plain steamed vegies or pasta, it is totally do-able!

The best ever Fried Chicken & Prawn Dumplings for $8! You get 10 of them & in case you can't finish them off they give you a take-away container so you can take the rest with you. As they do with every other dish you order.
Special Chilli Beef on Rice is hearty & delicious & plentiful and you must try their smoky and uber flavoursome Special Stir-Fried Vermicelli. We can't get enough of these dishes. And how can you do better than $11.50 for a Shanghai Style Crispy Duck. A family of 4 is wellfed in under $35!

A Malaysian restaurant with a "Jazz" theme/feel. Live music performances on most nights -one night we were there a customer sitting on the next table spontaneously burst into song, unaccompanied and out of the blue! And she was bloody good too!
Food is traditionally Malaysian wih a quirky modern touch. Eg: fragrant chicken was laden with coriander, garlic, ginger and peanuts and served on green salad leaves on a lovely white platter.
Curries with roti were hot and amazingly flavoursome and kept warm in heir pots with lids. Rice is also kept warm whilst at the table in its' own thermos type container.

A tiny little Japanese place that manages to capture the essence of Japan with its' compact size & authentic decorating touches. It has a large variety of the traditional Japanese dishes in both large & small serving sizes and a good choice of daily specials such as braised seafood in clay pot or grilled eggplant in a sweet sauce. The sushi & sashimi is always fresh and plentiful and the grilled chicken on rice has a beautiful char grilled/bbq aroma. Seafood balls with dipping sauce are a beaut entre as are the deep fried chunks of tofu. If you are planning to eat in it's best to book a table, otherwise you'll be salivating at everyone elses dishes as they come out while you are waiting for your take aways!

A loud, bustling funky joint which caters to large & small appetites with their range of main meals, snacks & mezze and a reasonably good range of sweets.
Terrific coffee & they will make it just the way you like it. We have long & short blacks in every strength possible, 3/4 lattes & hot and iced chocolates which are always consistently good. Love their soups on a cold day. They're served with toasted Turkish bread & butter. The mixed souvlaki with chicken & lamb is a favourite for our family. It has a terrific tangy dressing & good chunks of fetta.
The pastas are always satisfying and a good alternative if you want to "carb it" up.

Predominantly a take-away that does awesome crispy based tradtional & gourmet pizzas. Fillings are generous and they deliver them to your door! What more could you ask for when only a pizza will satisfy you hunger & accompanying mood? And they give you a free garlic bread or soft drink wth every delivery of M, L, or XL size pizzas. We love the RUSTICO for its' salami, capsicum & eggplant The CAPRICIOSA for the obvious mushroom & anchovy hit and the FONTANA SPECIAL simply because its a great combo.

Fabulous wood fired pizzas & calzone on thin crispy bases. They do basic pasta with your choice of sauces as well eg:spag, penne, fettuccine, tortellini, ravioli & gnocchi W napoli, carbonara, matricianna, pesto & bolognese. Of course there were the obligatory lasagna, marinara & spinach/ricotta cannelloni. We had the pesto W penne which was fragrant with garlic & basil and creamy in texture. Pizzas of choice were Meat Lovers for the teenage boys, the Mexicana for the chilli head in the family and a Paesana for me. It had Fior di Latte cheese on it & I was curious as I had not heard of this cheese. It did not disappoint! They were all delicious.

I was shocked by the dried fried chicken with chillies when it arrived ( my dining companion was delighted as he is a real chillies enthusiast ) because it sat on a mountain of crispy fried schezuan chillies but it was surprisingly mild & very delicious. And it wasn't that spicy after all because you can easily pick off any chillies you don't want to eat. Our scallops with eggplant cooked in a claypot were sweet & juicy with creamy eggplant to compliment the texture of the scallops. It was most unexpected for a schezuan type dish.

A tiny bakery/cafe where everything is made on the premises. They have a huge range of breads & pastries, both sweet & savoury with a strong French influence. They have a range of fillings for sandwiches, baguettes, focaccias etc or you can make up your own combo. Daily specials vary & are always top quality products! Some eg:s chorizo salad W goats cheese, baked mushrooms, various soups as well as the usual faves ie:ceaser salad, pies, quiches, sausage rolls, croque monseur. Their pastry is the ultimate in light buttery goodness.Do not leave befoe you've had the delectable vanilla slice or the strawberry pav. If there's no room make sure you take one of them home.

I ordered what was advertised on the specials as "roasted tomatosoup with basil" yet what I got was tinned tomatoes straight out of a tin & warmed in the microwave! I could see them preparing it over the counter/they're in full view. And my mushroom crepe was burnt & charred on the outside -which I returned but was still charged for when I went to pay!
