We booked my son’s party there and was so disappointed by the service for the following reason:

1. Mail: the party package that they sent in the mail contained an old, ripped pre-used $1 stamp. Can the place not afford to use new stamps? It just looks so bad being a business to be re-using ripped stamps. It actually made us question if they were going to go cheap with other things (the answer is yes!) but by that time we already had paid the deposit so it was too late to cancel. In hind sight we should have

2. Kids party food: the kids only get one of each of the party foods – for example if you choose chicken nuggets, pies and sausage rolls, they only get one of each. ONE LITTLE CHICKEN NUGGET. I could understand for the pies and sausage rolls, but for smaller food items like nuggets, spring rolls and frankfurts, it looks so cheap to give the kids ONE small frankfurt! Most other party at other centres have the food in the middle and the kids help themselves. For older kids that is definitely not enough food

3. Adult party food: Most of the platters are bulked up with wedges or fries. You don’t even get much of the actually platter you order. For example – calamari comes with wedges – the majority of the platter was wedges with a few calamari on top. The fruit was also mainly what was ‘cheap’ at the time. So we got a lot of oranges and not much of the watermelon and cantaloupe

4. Lighting: near the play area it is so dark on the bottom levels. My son actually got scared going through it

Also contacted head office and no one has bothered responding

I changed 4 tires on my car and started to hear a 'whoop whoop' noise from the wheels. I took it into Burwin (as it was due to go there for a different reason) and asked them to take a look. They told me it was not mechanical and it was due to the new tires (an aggressive tread). So I took it back to the place that fitted the tires and they could not find anything wrong (given my car is only 4 years old). Out of good will, they replace all 4 tires with a different set (a less aggressive tread as per Burwin's diagnosis). Unfortunately the sound was still there. I then called Burwin and asked if they could take another look at the car. I was told by the service rep that I had to wait for another car of the same year and model as mine to come in so they could switch the tires around and dignosis the issue. I asked them if there was anything else they could do given I did not want to wait an UNSPECIFIED amount of time for a car to come in. He said that was all they could do. As a last resort, I called a different VW service center, explained the situation and was told that there were other ways in dignosing the issue and waiting for a car to come in sounded absurd. They asked me to take the car in and within 15mins, diagnosed the issue as wheel bearings. I booked in my car for 3 weeks later to get fixed and it ended up getting fixed within the day. They also helped me fix my door lock out of good will, which Burwin told me was going to cost $500 at my last service.

VERY DISAPPOINTED in the service. Promised that the section 32 and contract was finished and would be released once payment was made. Did not get it for 5 days after I had paid and it was only after numerous emails and phone calls every day. Once I received it, the date stamp indicated that Joel (Mr. Singh) only prepared the contract and section 32 that morning. I got another surveyor to look over the section 32 as I did not trust Joel's work and I was advised that there were numerous missing documents, including necessary titles, Yarra Valley water information, land tax and council certificates. I have now engaged a differed conveyancer to complete the sale of my husband's property.

I would definitely think twice before hiring him to do your conveyancing. Would not recommend his services at all.
