I'd booked this accommodation through lastminute.com.au and didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to walk into a light filled, fresh and open-feel studio apartment. It was clean, spacious, had full kitchen facilities, provided quality (brand-name) toiletries and had a large balcony with table + chairs outside. Breakfast was included - a fresh loaf of bread was in the bread basket, fresh milk, eggs, orange juice and butter were in the fridge, along with an airtight container of REAL coffee (yes proper ground coffee). A plunger and percolator were in the cupboard, along with a range of cereals and muesli and condiments. Of course plenty of crockery/cutlery and cooking utensils were also provided. Bed was comfy, shower was huge, and the heating kept the room very cosy. In the morning I woke up to find the day's Sunday Herald Sun outside the door to enjoy reading while eating breakfast. Very amazed at something this good for the price. OH and although it doesn't mention it on accomodation websites - these apartments are pet friendly! So if you're planning on bringing dogs etc. down the Great Ocean Road, this is the perfect place to stay!

Small but cosy atmosphere, professional yet friendly staff. I had a remedial massage to work on my neck, however it was more of a relaxation massage - not quite firm enough for my liking. Perfect for relaxation massages though, felt like I floated out of there!

Pretty good....but the water is a bit stinky from too much chemicals. Would be a great pool if they changed their water treatment system to be less chemical based

The staff are always friendly and are helpful with answering product queries. They stock a wide range of food and items for all animals, and stock 'healthier' food products which are more natural with less preservatives. They are cheaper than regular pet stores, and you receive a further discount when you buy in bulk. The store is kept clean and presentable. A positive shopping experience every time.

This review is for Allan's Bakery & Cakes Cafe, Kilsyth VIC

We are lovers of bakery items on weekend and after being to many bakeries, Allan's would have to be one of the very best. Have tried almost all of their pastry items (not on one visit of course) and many of their sweet items too. Always great quality and very tasty. The only downside to some of their sweet items would be the excess amount of cream they use in some of them.

After initially having to wait over 10 minutes for someone to take our drink order, we were looked after beautifully by 2 waiters. Meals came promptly (stone grill orders) and were very nice. I took recommendations from our waiter on dessert and a dessert wine, and was not disappointed! Very impressed. I was expecting it to be a loud venue and rather overpriced, but for us (a couple) we found it to be a busy but relaxed atmosphere and could easily have a conversation. The only complaint is that the music speaker near us was broken and for the duration of our visit we could constantly hear static emitting from it. Would definitely visit again.

This review is for Toto's Pizza & Pasta Express, Mooroolbark VIC

OK, I've been to other Toto's locations and this one is definitely not on my list to revisit. I've tried them twice now, and both times I had to attract attention to place my order. The wait was over 20 minutes (the place was empty and the phone did not ring), so I do not understand why we had to wait so long. I was expecting much higher quality than what we received. The pizzas were burned, the toppings were sparse, and the taste was very ordinary - on both occasions. Two strikes against it in all aspects. Sorry but I do not really recommend this particular Toto's unless you like your pizzas very crisp and not much on them. There are other pizza places in the area which are much better.

This review is for Sampe's Pizza, Mooroolbark VIC

In my experience over many visits to Sampe's, the quality of their pizzas has only wavered once or twice. Their toppings are generally very generous, they always look appetising, and the bases are mostly cooked perfectly (only have had a soggy pizza once in the ~40 times). Every time I phone, the call is answered promptly and my order is always taken accurately. Am impressed with the constant quick turnaround of 10-15 minutes for my order to be ready. Only on a rare occasion have I had to wait more than 20 minutes. Great quality, great value, and most importantly, they are CONSISTENTLY great! I highly recommend them if you would like a reliable, decent pizza. It's the only pizza place I go to on a regular basis.
