Unacceptable attitude and behavior to customers :We live in Strata Title complex . Somebody has ordered Oceanside Plumbing Co.to find a location of the house isolation valve (IV) to our unit. Some man I’ve never seen before, accompanied by a member of the Committee, came to our unit, without any request, order or invitation, asking to see our Unit IV I let the plumber in only because he came with a committee member. I showed him ceased unit’s IV. I was the impression he would inspect the IV and suggest the next step. Without my knowledge he used force/tools to manipulate the IV, just to demonstrate “how this is done’. After re-opening the IV again, he did not open it fully; hence our shower [pressure] doesn’t work properly. I’m 92 y. old carer, also partly disabled. My wife’s medical condition requires multiple showering and H2O massaging. We are now facing a health risk and dangerous contamination by Escherichia coli. Pleading with the manager/owner of Oceanside services to open the IV fully met with no response. My problem was totally ignored; instead I received an invoice for $120 for the “services rendered” [Close + open the tap –say 60 seconds). I strongly suggest you learn from our experience before engaging with this company.
