Now a Sunday Morning routine, extra hot double shot flat white one sugar for me, chai for my friend and a soy double shot for my other friend. Love my Brekky Wrap (thanks Mexican guys), the gozleme and the yummy vegetarian food and drinks.

Six of us went to the Milk Bar, some eating dinner, some just drinks. I ordered a pot of tea which was fairly standard. One friend and myself had the $10 plate of Quinoa fried rolls with aioli on the side. They were presented quite nicely but unfortunately were very bland. Another friend had a hamburger which looked pretty substantial, but he is more of a fan of the diner down Sando way. Two others had frappes which they were both happy with and would have been a nice option for a hot summer's day or evening. Another friend had a big bowl of mixed fruit salad, which came with a large dollop of yoghurt on the top (not asked for). She graciously ate it and made no comment. Great selection of cakes but would be nice to see some savoury options like mini quiches as well.

We just went here for an afternoon snack and found quite a large cafe with outdoor courtyard. I had tea (leaves) in a pot and my friend had coffee, a little on the weak side. The menu shows a wide variety of food at pretty reasonable prices, and tries to offer something to everyone. It's nice for a big group where some might like wine, others a juice, big meal, cake or snack. Recommended.

I've been to this cafe a few times, only because of it's convenient location. However after a few bad experiences with the surly manager and very average, expensive food, I've decided not to go back. With prices of $25 to $27 for their main meals, and the only other alternative being huge slices of cake, I think I'll go elsewhere in future. And $8 for two tea bags!!! That doesn't surprise me based on the attitude I've encountered there.
