We would like to take a second to say a HUGE thank you to Debbie Treherne who works at Medibank Wendouree!

A few weeks ago my husband and I put a call out over social media, for anyone that works in the Health Insurance Industry to contact us as we were considering a move from our current insurance company and wanted to deal with someone we "knew".

Debbie contacted us Immediately, gave us some quotes, followed up consistently with emails and phone calls. YES she IS a "sales Person" so we did expect "sales pitch" etc, However Debbie also backed off and gave us room and time to have a think and do our research. She came back to us VERY promptly with answers to our questions.

In the end... we HAVE moved over to Medibank.. our benefits are better, the service thus far has been OUTSTANDING and no.. we really didn't save a lot of money on our monthly premiums.. but you get what you pay for, so we are VERY pleased!!

We highly recommend that anyone contact Debbie if they are considering a move of providers or even just some information on the product!!

what a wonderful first experience dining here!

We walked out of the car park and started to look around for somewhere to eat.. saw this VERY busy restaurant... asked if they had a table for two.. and were told yes, inside... it was a warm Saturday evening and we REALLY wanted to sit outside.. we advised them that we were happy to wait for a bit to get one, however a moment later a table for two was available.

The service was a bit slow (the table beside us arrived much later than us - and food and beverage was served before us it was quite obviously they were friends of the management and was given very preferential treatment)

However, that was well and truly made up for when the AWESOME food arrived.. the Garlic Prawns and Salt & Pepper Calamari was fabulous!! The serving sizes were great, in fact we couldn't finish our meals!

When the sun went down the Christmas Lights in the Lane came on and it was lovely!

The down side was that there was music playing in the lane way from a stereo / amp across from our table.. it was MUCH too loud for the diners that were sitting close to it.. we couldn't talk to or hear each other.

The smokers also tended to congregate in the lane way - about 10 meters (if that) from the tables in the lane way.

we WILL be back for another meal! Thank you!!

Approximate cost: $35

My husband and I are on a mission for a SPECIFIC running shoe.. the New Brooks Glycerin 12 and we would both prefer the black color in the mens and womens....

now, from what I found out this morning, is that BOTH of the colors we prefer are classed as "older" colors and not available to order anymore.....

so I thought that I would ring around to the different stores in Melbourne and see if ANY of them happen to have those in stock still...

I was told at the first 5 stores that I contacted "NO, they can't be ordered anymore, but we have this and this color available" ...

I got to store number 6 and Veronica, said,,, "Yup.. I know which ones you are looking for.. let me ring the main warehouse and see if they would just by ANY chance happen to have those colors and sizes for you".....

5 minutes later she rang me back and said "Yup, I have ordered BOTH in for you, they should be here tomorrow or the next day"

NOW for a .30 cent phone call and 5 minutes of her time.. she has made a $500 sale!!! yes $250 PER PAIR and TWO VERY happy customers!!

Well done to Veronica at the Athletes Foot at Northland Preston!!

Approximate cost: $500.00

Our first time to this place and to explore Traditional Chinese Medicine. My medical history was discussed and what issues I had that I would like healed, some acupuncture was performed and finally some Chinese herbs were prescribed. Directions were given on how to cook and use the medicines. As a side note, we were warned that they would not taste very good!! The staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside was that we really weren't told what the TCM contained, how long we could expect them to start working or any side effects that we may encounter. Nor were we given any quote for the procedures and TCM ... A bit of a shock at the end with a $360 bill for my husband and myself.
We WILL be back !

We have been going to this vet clinic for many years now. The staff and veterinarians are fabulous and Dr Michael is one of the best in the business! We find the prices very fair and the service outstanding! Certainly worth the 2 hour round trip to see them!
