Approximate cost: $3.00
The local market and deli is a cute little store which caters for most essentials for locals and tourists.I would shop here rather than go to the larger regional centre regardless of price
Approximate cost: $10.00
Louise, the owner has come a long way in developing this business.Always offering new techniques and services, she tries to keep up with the latest.Customer loyalty is rewarded with discounts and specials but new customers are always welcome just be prepared to wait for an appointment
Approximate cost: $60.00
Swimming without sharks.Clean, unfenced so accessible at all times(good/bad at times)This place needs some maintenance and updating to cater for its popularity and useage.Think of Port Kembla pool and that's the standard we should be aiming for.
Approximate cost: $free
Still my favourite hotel because of its setting and you haven't been to Shellharbour if you haven't been to the local pub.Meals are great.Staff are young and need lots of encouragement.Pubs are a bit grotty and this one is so don't expect a Versace experience but for a cold drink on the deck this is as good as it gets
Approximate cost: $20.00
great for a takeaway sandwich and cookie.Staffing excellent, clean service and value is amazing.Good for kids hangout as seating is provided outside
Approximate cost: $5.00
Always friendly staff eager to pleasethis store caters for the mature working woman who likes to be modestly fashionable.Good assortment of wearables and accessories, but why is there a laser hair removal clinic at the rear of the store?
Approximate cost: $50.00
Adding to the multicultural element of eating houses in this Village, the recent change to mexican fare was a good move. The coffe and chocolate here are great and now they have added ding to their repertoire this is a great little restaurant.Community events are advertised and promoted such as The Great Walk which took place a few months ago.
Approximate cost: $15.00
Large open shopfront windows are essential when it comes to butchers shops. You can instantly inspect cleanliness and quality of product and premises-no Salmonella here.I don't eat meat but if I did this is where I would buy
Approximate cost: $15.00
if ever a place needed a makeover! This place is a central hub of business in Shellharbour and really needs a fix.The shop is too small to cater for all its activities and it is extremely difficult to conduct business there.Maria, although a lovely person, obviuosly thinks she runs the town and has great managing abilities but needs more insight into creating a more amenable service to her monopolistic empire.Expand the shopfront and she'll be laughing.I only visit once in a blue moon,my claustrophobia cannot overcome this situation!
Approximate cost: $2.00
