Excellent local bakery who have amazing food. Had a cheese and bacon roll, and a cheese, bacon and tomato roll. Dough was soft and tasty, and there was enough topping without going overboard.
Partner had chicken and avocado roll. Bread was a good size and tasted great.
Bakery offer an extensive range of salads for in your roll, several styles of hot dog and lots of other bread too.

This review is for Atlas Billiards, Thomastown VIC

We have recently used Atlas Billiards for the second time to move our pool table from one location to another.
On both occasions we have been extremely satisfied with their service.
After calling around to several different pool table removalists, we found Atlas Billiards to be the most competitive in terms of price. Peace of mind was important to us as well and the gentleman sounded keen to impress.

It cost us $300 to move it the first time, and $280 the second time (which was discounted from $350 as we were returning customers).

In terms of moving the table, the 2 men who did it were efficient and professional, while still taking care of the table.

At the other end, they'll level your table and ensure it is ready to play on. They'll even draw new lines on it. The job took about 90 minutes, including 20 mins travel time.

I would not hesitate to use this business again in the future.

This review is for Kennards Hire, Prahran VIC

verified email - 19 Feb 2011

We used Kennards in Prahran to hire a large furniture trailer for our move.
We booked the trailer and arrived on the day to find it ready to go.
It cost $105 for 24 hours hire, and we also paid $22 to hire a trolley to assist us.
The trailer itself has a ramp and was big enough to fit most of what we needed to move.

The staff were friendly enough, although somewhat unprofessional in that they used coarse language throughout the transaction.

Overall we were happy with this experience and would probably use them again.

We stopped in to Caldermeade on our way to Phillip Island, hoping to enjoy some fresh milkshakes.
We were tempted by the food so we made our purchases, however the prices were very steep. Between 4 of us, we spent $85 on food to takeaway (4 milkshakes, a toasted cheese & ham sandwich, a quiche, a steak pie and another pie. Very expensive food.
Was disappointed with the service as a whole. While we were waiting for our food it appeared that the people cooking out the back weren't too happy about us ordering takeaway.
In terms of the food, the chips which came with the pies were high quality.
The milkshakes were OK, although the banana flavoured one didn't use real bananas which disappointed us.
Next time we'll stop off at the bakery down the road and pay $30 between us all for a shake and meat pie.

This review is for Andy's Antennas & All Things TV, Cranbourne VIC

After speaking with 7 different electricians about it, Andy was the only one who could install an additional phone socket into my house. He gave me excellent, honest advice over the phone and came out on time. It cost me $99, which was good value. He took about 30-40 mins to do it. Great work!

The ultimate lunch treat. 28 menu items, reasonable prices and high quality. You can phone in your order and it'll be ready in 10 mins, plus if you order enough you get a free bag of prawn crackers. No menu online though.

Excellent place to find a book, dvd, cd, board game or magazine. The range is so wide, have never failed to find a book I'm after there. The big selling point is the chance to sit down and read anything in store. I'm pretty sure people could finish full books there over a few days.

This review is for Moods Cafe, Berwick VIC

verified email - 25 May 2010

Moods is a great place for a casual meal, with inexpensive offerings and a wide ranged menu.
The staff are friendly and the ambience is bright.
Only issue would be the potential weight gain from eating their amazing-looking cakes.

Had new tyres fitted plus wheel alignment. Was all done within an hour of dropping the car off. Service was good, value is good. They called me to let me know when it was done and didn't mind how long I took to collect it.

I like to stop off here for a cheese & bacon roll sometimes, they taste really good. Costs about $3.50 for one so a little more expensive compared to Bakers Delight but better quality.
Baked fresh.
Large range of cakes and pies too.
