I was waiting for a package to be delivered for 2 weeks from a business. Star Track Express left a couple of cards for me and when i rang them they informed me i had to be home between 8am and 5.30pm to receive the package. As i work this is impossible, they told me they cannot get in touch with their drivers either (rubbish) so I could not even get an am or pm delivery time. I rang the the business who used Star Track Express and told them to cancel it and send it by normal post and 2 days later I was at the Post Office picking it up.

I have just left this shoe repairer after getting the info from WOMO. Fixed the zip on my boot and put extra holes in 3 belts at no charge. I left my handbag there to get repaired. He has me as a client for life (if i don't move).

I go here to get regular pedicures and facials. They are just as good as going to any beautician. Very clean, relaxing and everything is checked by the teacher.

I have curly hard to manage hair. I found Chrissy (who works at Eltham although does 1 day at Malvern) do be a great cutter who can cut curly/wavy hair properly. Very happy with Chrissy.

Very professional. I get face threading done and they don't miss a hair. They also do Indian head massage, henna artwork, kerala massages and also the mainstream beauty as in facials, waxing etc.

I definitely didn't have the same experience as most of these 1 time reviewers. I didn't realize they sub-contract their work out either. I had two guys come to remove my furniture from my docklands apartment to somerville, which took them 9 hours when they said around 4. I was far from happy as it was 11pm when they finished. The women in the office hung up on me so very unprofessional. One man couldnt speak english so boxes where upside down and furniture damaged. Never again. I did choose them from the wonderful reviews on this site.

Bill and his wife came and did a long list of work which another so called builder had dodgily done. They are professional and meticulous with their work. Bill even came back because he wasn't happy with the door he painted. Would not hesitate to use Bill again. Absolutely.

John from Clipper Cabinets has done the kitchen in my investment property twice in 3 years. First time was a revamp and the second time was tenants had badly damaged the kitchen. He is reliable, honest and very reasonably priced. There is no stress involved when dealing with John. I found him polite and courteous on both occasions.

I had to pick a fencer's add out of the Mornington Peninsula papers (which i was nervous about) as there were no reviews close to my area. I chose Trev's fencing....what a mistake. He built the fence which was ok. The gate was a joke. It was totally built incorrectly. He used hinges you wouldn't use on a toy, and within 2 days the gate had fallen off the hinges and is now leaning against the fence. He didnt use steal across the gate for strength and the wood was the wrong way and its now buckled. Didn't even put a latch on the gate. I phoned him and he admitted he should have built it properly and said he would come back on the weekend. I haven't seen or heard from him since and that was 6 weeks ago. He obviously couldn't care a bit. How do they stay in business. I suppose that's why they have to keep putting adds in the papers week after week.

I dropped 3 pairs of pants off to be altered, 1 pair were Ralph Lauren pants $200. I explained clearly and had them explain how they were going to alter them so there would be no mishaps. How wrong i was. They ran a seam down each leg and that was it on the Ralph Lauren pants which i had to unpick as soon as I got home. The other two pairs where done exactly the opposite to how they said they would do them. I couldn't believe it. The women who was there when i picked them up could not speak english and it was difficult to explain what was wrong....although i think she new by looking at the pants. 3 pairs of pants ruined. The owner of the business then rang me and the verbal abuse followed.
