The Central Market is such a fantastic experience and I love the quality and selection but more so the buzz of the place - no better place to head for quality produce, cheeses, fruit & veg, coffee/tea, continental goods and every other thing your taste buds could ever wish for - my bags are groaning when I leave just wish my stomach was as big as my eyes! A real treat for interstate visitors too, apparently it is unique in Australia so take friends and family there for a free and fabulous outing.

Borders is such a treat to visit, their selection is excellent and their staff are really helpful and knowledgeable - love having the Cafe on-site because there is nothing better than grabbing a good read and going to start devouring it with a decent cuppa... love Borders oh and online too but the store is better!

Jasmine really is Adelaide's premier Indian Restaurant - the quality of food, service and beautiful dining room make for a wonderful dining experience. It is a relaxed and lovely atmosphere, the food is 10/10 and they offer a very good wine list - for an evening to remember I would highly recommend for a special occasion as it can be a little pricey, however it is well worth it

The staff here not only make a ripper coffee but make the business - its all about service and they always are efficient and friendly which is not always the case these days! Good on the girls there, they do a lovely job and I always grab a cuppa when at Arndale

It is the best Bakery in Adelaide without a doubt - you can also have a hot meal 24hrs a day (try the prawns - can't get better anywhere) and the best hot chips in SA!! Super fresh, really nice staff oh and it is licensed so you can enjoy a wine with your prawns! Great place for a late night pie or coffee/cake, good atmosphere and always busy

You can't go past the Elephant Walk if you are in the city after dark for a gorgeous dessert or beautiful coffee/tea (or both!) really cosy Bohemian booths and a lovely outdoor area out back which is perfect on warm nights - prepare to lineup it is really popular and you will understand why after just one visit it is brilliant!!

What a fantastic hotel - the themed bars are a lot of fun and really well done, the atmosphere is great and its a lovely place to drop in for a drink - the restaurant is excellent with a really large menu and some decent wines - book in advance it is often booked up and quite rightly so, a lovely place for dinner or a casual drink check it out!

Had a work dinner recently at the Lion and the service was sensational - the steaks are highly recommended and mine personally was excellent yet several of my fellow diners were disappointed with the quality of the cut of meat (fatty and grisly) which was disappointing - however most had been there before and had 10/10 meal so would visit again

Huge range of products with superb fabrics (including offcuts) and endless ribbons, buttons etc. I have used them over the years and would not bother going anywhere else its a one stop shop for all your sewing and craft needs - I often grab offcuts for wrapping gifts rather than using paper, adds a nice touch

Gaganis is second to none when it comes to spices, cooking utensils and ingredients, cheeses, deli meats, continental products, bulk dried goods, grains and pulses it is sensational and very well priced - open weekends too!!
