Good breakfast, great coffee, nothing special or out of the ordinary on the menu, but everything was to a high standard. The decor is fresh & pleasant with high ceilings and plenty of delicious looking food in the counter to whet your appetite

Really cheap drinks, casual grungy kinda vibe. A whole lot different since the new smoking laws as it used to be a pretty smoky place. Now as the weather warms up everyone is outside (smoking) and inside is less busy but at least breathing fresh air. The outdoor seating is good, even though its on the street there's lots of plants around so that you feel like you're in a courtyard. A good easy place to hang out for a long while or a little while.

I had the baked eggs this morning and they were divine. I think there are a selection of different baked eggs options each morning which is a nice idea. The service was extremely attentive. There was some amazing looking options on the breakfast menu like cinnamon donuts with dipping chocolate and even boiled eggs with soldiers to take you right back.

The food is OK - there are some big pub style meals and a tapas/nibbles selection as well. But mostly I go here for the beer garden and the relaxed vibe. The outdoor area has a very chilled feel and I'm really looking forward to spending some time out there this summer

This place was exceptional in every way. The sweeping drive & dramatic entrance, the warm & friendly staff, the attentive service, the comfortable and private dining room and of course the food. The degustation menu was delicious - it apparently changes each night, but on the particular night we went it may have been a little heavy on the meat side. The pumpkin cappuccino for entree was a taste & texture sensation and I loved the fairy floss touch on the dessert. A wonderful experience all round. There is also accommodation at the Restaurant but we didn't stay there.

I've had my hair cut there 3 times now. First time was a young girl who was a bit inexperienced - the cut was OK but not up to my expectations. Next time I asked for a senior stylist and she was great, but she had left by the time I made my next appointment. Anyway, it's only been a few weeks but I'm pretty happy with my last cut there and will definitely go back.

You are in and out the door of Don Don within 2 minutes usually. They have the most incredible food production line I have ever seen - particularly impressive given the food is prepared fresh and constantly through the city lunch hours. There are only 6 or 8 key dishes, from sushi & rice through to curries & a Don Don box, and all are tasty, fresh & consistent in quality. The Sushi Don is delicious and they are very generous with sushi quantities.

Kelvin is a Northcote institution. Its cosy dark corners are perfect for a winter drink and you can hide away in there for hours oblivious to the outside world. The cocktail list is extensive and the bar staff super friendly. There are tables out on the street for warm summer evenings, but I'd have to say it's more of a cold weather venue.

These guys do great coffee and (unless they're run off their feet) really friendly personable service. The egg paninos are yummy.

I have been seeing Hayden for Myotherapy treatments occasionally for over 5 years. He is a skilled practitioner with a great friendly manner that makes you very comfortable. He treated me for whiplash initially, and sorted out in 3 sessions what a previous 6 with a physio had done nothing for me. I highly recommend Hayden and am constantly referring friends & family to him for any muscle related issues.
