this place is great - the staff are always friendly despite the size of your order. The store stocks cheap wrapping paper, toys, party gifts/treats (bubbles, sunnies, blowers, masks, banners) they have homewares too! Lots of pretty things, worth an exploration. they have temporary tattoos - one stop shop for all your party needs. A filled balloon normally sets you back about $1.35 a centrepiece (5 balloons on a weight) about $10. Best thing about this place is you can buy little treasures for parties individually instead of in packs!

Yum yum. First time I had the hogs breath long slow cooked steaks and it was an experience.... This particular hogs breath is in amongst an avenue of restaurants which makes the feel of the restuarant exciting! The booths are so comfortable...really enjoyed my experience here.

My hubby loves this place and it is a lovely local! Warm, delicious food and a great outdoor play area for the kids. Hubby had the steak and a great variety of drinks on tap. it didn't feel dingy but comforting and inviting! We'll be back. Food was brought out in a timely fashion. Loved the stained glass windows.

Love this place! Cheap, yummy and fresh! The ladies here are just adorable! The salad rolls are about $2.70 - so fresh and yummy how can you beat it. Custard tarts, vanilla slices, eclairs, apple turnovers and pull apart breads! What more could you want! I wish there was a briar hill traditional bakehouse in every suburb!!!

This is a gourmet fish and chippery so don't think your coming here getting some cheap chips and fish of questionable origin and flavour. The staff are friendly. Burgers will set you back about $12 but they are gourmet. They aren't as big as Grill'd burgers but it's nice to be able to get quality out in the sticks! You get a little wood fork with your take away order and the chips are nice and chunky! If you want a gourmet experience and to limit your fat intake this is the place to go....quality not quantity. Fish adn chips and drink will set you back about $10

I wanted to like this place. It's quite spacey (great for prams), they provide coloured pencils for the kids and make big bowls of yummy chips served with aoili. The girls are friendly there...and the cofee is okay. However the lunches there are overpriced for what they are. I just think you can make something better at home. And they are not under $10 meals they are restaurant prices....

This place is big! Whilst they don't have ALL the latest ranges of plants they have all you need and want to establish a garden and at good prices! You have to be a bit careful about things being root bound but generally plants are healthy. This is not really where you buy gift plants but where you buy them to establish your garden. They have eft over $25 so handy and they are open Mon-Sun! Perfect for when you get an urge to do some gardening. They sell bags of potting mix and other things which is handy and there is a little bonsai area that is interesting. Plants are really competitively priced. SO convenient! lOve it!

This place is great! They are generous with their loads and are helpful, giving you advice for your job. We are repeat customers and have been given a delivery discount which just makes us love them more! They can supply almost everything and are spot on with delivery times. Good prices for roadbase, loam and pebbles! Ring up for a quote before you go elsewhere you won't be dissappointed. About $12 for local delivery

When we went on a Saturday the line was huge and they were running out of pie flavours. This place has a really good reputation...and the pies were nice but the wait was a bit annoying. The place is unusual with lots of little rooms and nooks to sit in, and an outside garden area...but to me it was not terribly inviting because of the lines. THough i will try this place again when i'm not in a rush. Good vanilla slices etc. about $4 for everything so the bill soon adds up. Not really 'bakery' prices....which is what i expected.

This place is really nice. There is plenty of art on the walls to look at. The building itself has windows framing the landscape, which is oh so pretty. We usually go for the lunch specials, i think they are about $25 or so for two courses and a glass of wine/drink. The food is always delicious and the staff are kind. the toilets are always clean. I like that it is basically empty - there is an open fireplace.
