I have been here a few times and I really really enjoy it. It's a cute and very cozy pub and it has a nice open fire which really adds to the warmth and comfort of the place.

Meals are fairly priced and it's nice both night and day!

We love this restaurant! It's comfy and cosy and the food has always been good! The kids love the playground outside and it's always great on a night when there is live music! This place has been so consistent since we first went 15years ago!!!

My hubby loves this place and it is a lovely local! Warm, delicious food and a great outdoor play area for the kids. Hubby had the steak and a great variety of drinks on tap. it didn't feel dingy but comforting and inviting! We'll be back. Food was brought out in a timely fashion. Loved the stained glass windows.

A comfortable pleasant atmosphere inside. Cosey in winter but cool in summer. Alfresco dining outside lovely in spring/summer/autumn. Classic country pub. Not ostentatious. Has it's own feel. Great family pub. Some basic climbing equipment and swings in back "yard" and loads of room for the kids to run - better than any indoor playroom. Food is delicious, prices reasonable. Great menu choice & specials (I always want to come back to try something else). Kids menu is great value. Served timely. Staff friendly. We love this place and it's our regular for when we have visitors from outside Melbourne come stay with us. A great place to stop on a drive out Kinglake way too.
