Was recommended this place after our regular dentist retired last year. I was a little bit worried as I had a terrible experience a few years ago that not only cost me thousands, but I was left with excruciating pain for years. I spoke to Vanessa and she was very understanding and concerned as to how I felt. The visit was hassle free as the staff made me feel at ease and the dentist was lovely. I still need more work but have no problems going back. Its a nice clean environment and I got some goodies on the way out, cute... I think they do this with all their customers. Thanks

This post office has been my regular for years. Never had one problem with any staff member, maybe because I go a lot they've got used to my face ha. They have just had some great renovations to make the place bigger. There is a DIY parcel outlet, money exchange desk, passport area and lots of ideas for presents. The only thing I have noticed as its downfall is the great selection stand of cards has been taken out to make way for the parcel machine, pity.

Well I took my mother to this place after reading the reviews and seeing their advertisement. As she loves a cuppa, I thought it would be the perfect place after her operation. Ow my goodness, what as amazing selection of cuppy cakes, never seen such a choice. Definitely loved the cheesecake one and the ladybugs, ow and mum just kept picking ones with the lovely icing flowers lol. The average cake was $3.95 but you can also buy them in boxes of 6 and 12 I think. We took a 6 pack home and the fillings were delicious. Really lovely ladies to chat to and great location. Best morning tea I've had for a long time. Thank you ...

Was invited to a Banquet for a friends 50th birthday. Obviously the environment made by our guests was magic but unfortunately there was no music or entertainment which was a bit of a let down. I had their famous pumpkin curry chicken and yum yum it was delicious. For 30 people in our group, there were 3 meals that had to be returned due to small mistakes. And as it was a Banquet Menu, we only had a choice of one dessert, which was unfortunate if you didn't like sticky date pudding. I personally thought $40 per person when you picked at dishes put in the middle was a bit expensive. Lovely big area though, could definitely cater for a wedding or similar event.

Have been going to this place for years, don't get there as much as I would like to due to distance. I just prefer it as its not as commercial as the other Parks. There are acres of natural bush land but we always jump on the little train which takes us right to the far end of the park and we slowly work our way back. The eagle show is amazing and the kids always head to the bilbies. There are rosellas everywhere at the entrance and you can get piccys of your body full of birds. Plus you can cuddle a koala. We always get there early in time for their morning breakfast which is always a treat in a natural environment. Beautiful day out with the kids but try and get local vouchers to get in for cheap ..

01 May 2013

Organised to have a head full of extensions done as my friend had only just had her hair done a few days prior. Hair looked nice but the $100 worth of hair products ??? made my hair look like an oil pit so had to purchase another product that they used to wash my hair at her house. When it was time to go back to have extensions moved up, I advised her the attachments were all sticky and looking like balls of glue. She took them out and sent them to her Supplier only to be told there was Wheat Protein in the hair that I put in there so the Warranty was void. I advised her that the only products I used were hers but she didn't care. So I emailed the maker of the Product who advised me that Wheat Protein was in EVERY hair extension product as its needed to strengthen and protect the extensions, that I should report her to Consumer Affairs. My loss for not reporting her as I lost nearly $400. But what was surprising when searching her business, was another poor lady who had exactly the same problem, same Wheat Protein excuse etc. Disgusting service when a product is faulty on more than one occasion, sad and unprofessional avoiding a standard Aust Warranty.

Used ALL FUR on my pooches quite a few times. I too have taken my boys to 2 other places, and as one of them has had a hip reconstruction, he gets very sore. Unfortunately he has been treated very roughly in the past but I have no issues here. I let them know and he got treated like a king. They both love the wash and the warm water and they come out smelling gorgeous and shiny. Very helpful, best prices I've seen around and obviously are comfortable with all animals .. Thanks

Not a very nice experience at all. We had to drive up to Burrum Heads as my Father In Law was rushed into hospital while on holiday so we needed accommodation for a few nights for my family and my Mother In Law. The only place that could accommodate us all was a deluxe ensuite which cost $90/night for 4 adults. Ow my goodness, what an absolute dump this Unit was. The amount of mould running up and down the walls was disgusting and since my daughter has asthma, mould and asthma don't mix. There wasn't just a few dots, it was thick and black and everywhere. Obviously had a few good months to fester. You could just smell the mould everywhere. There was also a smashed window in the bunk bed area (hence the source of the mould) so my husband and I taped up the window with a slab of wood we found near the entrance. The sheets were stained and the fridge was riddled with mould also. And to top it off, my Mother In Law went through the floor because a small rug was put on the floor to cover up the flooring that had collapsed under the Lino. As we arrived at night time, the office was closed and there wasn't any other accommodation as it was late. We battled through the night and when we went to the office to get our money back, wow talk about not interested. The lady didn't care one bit that my daughter battled asthma all night or that my mother in law went through the floor, she was more concerned that she had to return our monies. Reluctantly, she handed back our money and we drove down to Hervey Bay and booked into a 5 star 2 bedroom apartment ha that was to make up for the disgusting night we had the night before. Bad service and upkeep and definitely not worth $90/night.

Have been going to this place ever since it opened. All family members became social club members. So much to do down here, great meals with a massive menu to chose from, big bar, so many different shows on each night and definitely good for group bookings as they have so much space. The only thing I would say is a personal downfall is that there are always flys buzzing around our meals EVERY time we go there. I think this is because there is no foyer area to some of the doors to the restaurant area hence flys and hot air come rushing through all the time. Even the poor barman said the flys are a pain, poor man ..

This place is amazing, not only because its one of the few left in Brisbane, but it reminds me of my own childhood. There are usually two different sessions each night, an early one and a later one. You pull up in your car (we reverse in with the ute) tune in to the radio station and kick back and relax. We throw chairs in the back and deck chairs to the side of the car. And the snacks bar has the most amazing 60's chairs, even worth just going to get pictures in them lol. Great night for the whole family, what kids wouldn't love watching a movie sitting in bean bags or chairs munching on snacks in their PJ's.
