I cannot believe this great family business has closed down. When we lived in Brassall then Chuwar we never bought our meat from anywhere else, was a loyal customer since 1982.Moved up to Hervey Bay 6 years ago, and cannot find a decent butcher here not one that would be fit to lick their boots, also the prices here are ridiculous, in fact Gregg laughed when we told him what we have to pay. Was just about to make a journey down and ring to place a decent size order, for us to bring back with us. Could not believe it when we saw that Gerry had closed up. It was such a pleasure to go into the shop the friendliness and banter you used to get as well as of course great produce, and if the item didn't meet your expectations at anytime, they always but always put it right . Does anyone know if either of the sons have opened up elsewhere, I expect not if they have shut up in Brassall. All we here of with federal government is helping the small business so where are they now just as you would expect from governments noticeable from their dead silence.
