My husband and I have a deep admiration of Dr Yap on many levels. Firstly, she is an experienced and gifted surgeon, a consummate professional and expert in her field. Dr Yap ensured that we understood the nature of my breast cancer, answered all my questions and provided my options in a direct and authentic manner. Secondly, she is also funny, compassionate and supportive....our rock of reason, our source of information and reassurance within the parameters of what is my medical reality. I can truly say I am blessed to have Dr Yap as my surgeon. She has been an integral part of my road to recovery.
