This is an interesting debacle!!

We ordered a take out on a quite evening. There were only 6 guests at tables.

We ordered an Aussie (ham and cheese) a Tandoori and a large Mediterranean Lamb. The girl taking the order was brilliant, helping us choose pizzas to suit our fussy children. She even read the order back to us and then told us it would be about 15 minutes.......30 minutes later we finally left.

When we arrived back to our accommodation, I opened the boxes to find the Aussie, a Tandoori which my husband considered overcooked and NO Mediterranean but something totally different.

My husband returned to the restaurant with two of the three pizzas and explained to the owner/manager the problem with the pizzas. My husband even wrote down on a piece of paper Tandoori Chicken and Mediterranean Lamb.

So when he returned to the hotel, he had four pizzas with him and was laughing when explaining they still got it incorrect. He came back with the original Tandoori, a Mediterranean lamb and the wrong pizza and a new Aussie.

I'm not sure if it was more the fact were past eating after all the problems, but the Aussie was delicious, the Tandoori was tasty, the wrong pizza was salty and the Mediterranean Lamb was so oily we had to hold it over a plate otherwise the oil would have run onto the carpet. I was so disappointed with the Mediterranean Lamb.

The meal was very disappointing, however the staff were really friendly. The owner/manager was very apologetic and offered my husband a complimentary drink for his trouble in returning, however my husband did decline because he simply wanted the correct pizza so he could eat dinner.

This cafe is out of the main town centre, past the cemetery. It is sign posted near the entrance.

It was such a pleasant surprise when arriving here, with seating outside under cover and more seating indoors.

We visited the store two days running for ice cream cones. We all had 2 scoops each. they advertise the flavours change daily and although I was disappointed the flavour I loved on day 1 was not available on day 2, there was still a fantastic selection to choose from.

As we were there in December 2013, I just thought this was a fabulous place to get out of the heat and enjoy a special treat at the same time. A definite must!!

They also sell pancakes - yum!!

When first walking in it does appear cheap decor and I was a little nervous, however it was packed. We were seated in the back room and it was rather quiet compared to the rest of the restaurant. We ordered 3 large pizzas and a garlic bread. We were expecting the garlic bread to come out first, however the pizzas started arriving. When the garlic bread was mentioned one staff member went away to chase it up. It finally arrived after we cancelled it!! The pizzas were positively delicious. The bases were perfect, not to chunky and bready in taste and the toppings were well spread out. Really enjoyed our meal and looks are definitely deceiving. If this restaurant was closer to home we would definitely eat here more often.

Our lazy dinner night, we hadn't actually been into this shop for many many years. We ordered a meal combo for $26 of a whole BBQ chicken, medium chips and a caeser salad. The staff member offered to cut up the chicken for us, we were asked if we wanted extra dressing on the salad and the medium chips were overflowing from the box and looked more like a large. They was enough to share between 2 adults and 3 kids. The chicken was beautiful and the stuffing slightly different from other stuffings I have had before. We almost walked down to the supermarket to get a chook, but I was so glad I stopped in here. Will make this my lazy dinner night stop more often. I really enjoyed my dinner last night. They also serve burgers and meals from bay maries and there was a large number of salads to choose from.

WOW!! This is my new favourite sushi bar. I thought prices were relative to other sushi stores. There is seating inside if you want to eat in. I ordered to go a 'Sushi Sampler' for $6.50. It had 8 sushi slices, 4 different flavours. It was really nice and had a couple flavours I hadn't tried before, so I really enjoyed it. Will be back to this little store shortly.

This store is only a litte store, but with plenty of outdoor seating. I bought a latte to drink on the go and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Really nice coffee. The female barista was not very chatty, although she was friendlyish enough, there was no real effort to make me feel welcome. Service was okay, coffee was delicious.

What a hidden little gem this cafe is. I usually order a Latte along with a bite to eat. They sell a small range of food. Their filo parcels, sausage rolls and friands are just delicious. I usually stare at the glass display trying to decide what I want on the run whilst my coffee is being made. My Latte is always delicious. Love that the froth is thick and I have to take the lid off to get it all at the end. There is dine in seating available, although I probably wouldn't visit at school pick up as there are 2 schools nearby so it is probably busy at this time.

The Springs Resort next door had 'NO Vacancy' sign displayed and this was still no indication to the Bistro that they may be a little busy in the evening. We lined up to order and they do deliver to your numbered table, however it was a 45 minute wait from ordering to food arriving, after waiting in line for 10-15 minutes to order. We ordered 3 kids meals, my daughter loved her hawaiian pizza and chips. My husband ordered a lasagne which he said was really nice, but when he returned two nights later he said the wait was so long he just didn't enjoy it. I didn't enjoy my meal at all, the bistro was okay and there were a lot of customers, but unless they wanted to drive somewhere else, the only option is the club. I thought the prices were too high for club prices in the country, they are closer to Sydney club prices. I guess I was expecting the meals to be better than bistro meals in the city but the food was okay. There was no wow factor about the meals, however on the positive they were good sized portions and the staff were really friendly considering the number of customers in the bistro for the evening. I only went to the club once, not enjoying the experience the first time but my husband went a second time and they hadn't improved staff levels 2 nights later. The average meal cost is $18 - $25

We ordered 3 pizzas. Rustica, Old Bombay and an Island Paradise. It was quite busy when I arrived to pick up, the staff were friendly - looks like a husband and wife team - the pizzas were left in the woodfire a little long for my liking and the cheese had gone the other side of brown. The Island Paradise (hawaiian) was a typical ham and pineapple, The Rustica was chicken, mushrooms, crunchy potato pieces, onion, mozzarella cheese, topped with bacon pieces. It was quite nice and the Old Bombay was mildly spicy Tandoori marinated chicken, red and green capsicum and onion. Garnished with mint yogurt, mango chutney and fresh coriander. I could really taste the coriander but I couldn't taste Tandoori. I wasn't expecting it to be like my local Indian in taste, but I was dissappointed. The pizzas were however nice enough and good sizes.

Six were seated at our table, with a variety of meals ordered. Being indecisive, I asked the male staff member his favourite meal to which he replied the Chicken Supreme, so I ordered it. Meals came out quickly and everyone agreed theirs was delicious, although one who ordered soup of the day was dissappointed. We checked on just before a big group arrived. The staff were pleasant, the meals were really nice and they were relatively good value for pub meals. Would definitely return. We then headed into the pub area for the 'nightclub' and continued our great night out.
