Friends live close by, so we naturally had lunch at the famous Orange Spot last week. I think it's the best in Adelaide! My pie and doughnut were lovely and my friends really enjoyed theirs too. Regular visits are warranted! Yumm...

Finding good jeans that fit can be a hassle, so I was grateful for Stella's advice and help when I was there. My new jeans fit well and are comfortable. I like their range, but the could do with some lighter colours in some of their styles.

We were there for lunch today and it was excellent! I was a little concerned given some negative reviews I had read but today it couldn't have been better. My husband and I each had porterhouse steak - both cooked perfectly and the chips and salad were good. I also a the sticky date pudding - definitely worth it. The venue is lovely and the staff, especially Trisha, were very friendly and helpful.

While out with one of my friends, we stopped at Joan's Pantry for lunch. It has a great reputation that is well-deserved and we enjoyed pies and cakes while looking across at the park. It's certainly very popular!

I wanted to order a special cake for a 60th birthday and went to Michel's at Mitcham. Their prices were better than some similar bakeries and the quality of the sponge was excellent. They include the writing on the top in the price and everyone enjoyed the cake. They even open at 10 am on Sunday, which worked out perfectly for the lunch party. I'd recommend them.

I was curious after hearing and reading all the hype about the caveman diet, so I called in for lunch a few days ago. I'm not destined to be a cave woman, as the food was a little too bland and basic for me, but the staff are really friendly and it's certainly popular. I'm already slim and healthy!

These are amazing!!! I was given some edible blooms recently and at first glance I was sure they were real flowers. Very well made, fresh and delicious. What a wonderful and thoughtful gift!

I ran into a friend while at Mitcham and we stopped at Mooi for a coffee and a chat. It's quite popular and fairly comfortable, although I'm always conscious of all the people walking past close by. We weren't worried about how long it took. The lass was friendly and the coffee and hot chocolate were pretty good, especially given the prices.

A lot of shift workers call in there, which was obvious when we stopped for some morning tea. Their doughnuts are nice and were certainly fresh but I'm not keen on their pies and pasties - too peppery for my taste. The woman who served us was clearly rushed but she might be friendlier if it hadn't been so busy.

It had been quite a while since our last visit and predictably the price had gone up. It's still a good range of food, although there aren't as many meat dishes other than chicken and fish. None of the food was very hot, some even luke warm, but still nice. Good staff who manage the large restaurant well.
