Last Saturday evening, my family together with another family friend attended a Charity dinner. At 7.30pm we decided to leave the function as we( the adults) were still hungry despite being served dinner. All eight of us (4 adults and 4 kids) dropped by this restaurant to have a supplement meal. It was past 8pm when we arrived. The restaurant was only about 30% filled with customers. As we were sitting down, the lady incharged, commented ' You all should have called to make reservation as there are so many of you'. I then told her that it was a last minute decision to come here and that the restaurant was recommended by a friend. As the kids were not that hungry, all they wanted was soup and fried rice. We then ordered the restaurant special 'urban duck' and another fried vegetable. When the lady came to take our order, imagined our surprise when she commented, ' Is that all you want? Seriously, there are 8 of you and for me to do business, each of you should order up to $20per person. What you had ordered is only $56 (before drinks).' She then left to place our food order. I was quite annoyed by her remark but my wife calmed me down. She then ordered some wine and beer for the adults. Food came and though it taste ok, the serving was small, especially the duck dish. When we finished, the total bill, including drinks came up to $81. From my own opinion, the restaurant open for business not too long ago, it was already past 8pm and the restaurant was not full, yet such remarks were made by the lady incharged . The dining experience left a bitter taste in my mouth and I will not patron this restaurant again.

My daughter rolled her ankle about a month ago. After two weeks she was still complaining about the pain especially when she had to run. Made an appointment with the physiotherapist on a Wed afternoon. Went in on time and soon we were lead into the treatment room when we met the physiotherapist, Joanna Guzinski. She was very professional and made us at ease with her approach. After an initial round of questions to determine the cause of the injury she then proceed to treat my daughter's ankle with massage ointment, etc. She explained that a rolled ankle will take some time to heal, at 6 to 8 weeks. She then went through a series of exercises that she wanted my daughter to execute everyday to strengthen her injured area. She also want to see my daughter again in a week time for a follow up.
During the following week appointment, she reexamine my daughter's ankle and gave her a treatment of massage. My daughter told me later that it felt warm and good. She reminded her to continue the physio exercises that she taught her during the last treatment. Before the end of the session, she told us not to hesitate making another appointment if deem necessary. Overall, the experience with her was pleasant and good. My daughter was very pleased with it and currently she is recovering well.

Went in one Sat afternoon as my wife wants to look for a new TV. Was attended to by Shane, a sales rep. Shane was very helpful and patient whilst we bombarded him with a lot of questions. We narrowed down our choice to a Samsung 55" Smart TV but we wanted to compare pricing so we did not put in our order. Back home, we did some price comparison and found that the offer by Shane was quite a good deal. We decided that we will go in the next Sat to buy it. On that Sat morning, I saw on the internet that Harvery Norman is having a EOFY sale and note that the price of the Samsung TV was now advertise lower than what we were offered. We went in and saw Shane again and he told us that the price had gone down and even if we had bought the TV last week, he would have honored and refund the difference. We were very happy and we finally put in our purchase and bought the TV at the EOFY offer price. We were told that we can collect the TV there and then at the warehouse situated at the back of the showroom. We took delivery of it immediately and my whole family is now enjoying the 55" TV especially with the telecast of the World Cup series that is going on now.

Was on the way back from work last Tuesday around lunch time. Drove past and saw this take-away restaurant. Manage to park my car right in front of the shop. Went in and look at the menu to see what they have to offer. There were 2 other customers waiting for their order. Ordered a chicken burger to take away, The staff told me that it is $7 and after I paid was told to wait for awhile. Whilst waiting, watch the replay of a World Cup soccer match which was showing of the big screen TV. My order came after 5 mins and I left. Back in the car, couldn't wait to sink my teeth into it as I was really hungry. For $7, it was a pretty small burger and other than the chicken and some lettuce and tomato, there is nothing much. Maybe I should have ordered something different.

Went there last Friday evening to have dinner with my wife and daughter, a belated birthday dinner for my wife. As we have made bookings earlier, we arrived on time and were promptly seated by the waitress. We had a couple of red wine for starter while we browse through the menu. My daughter decided on the lamp rump, my wife had the tea smoked duck and I have the Oil poach salmon. We also asked for a stirred fry beans on the side and for dessert we ordered a chocolate mud cake and pavlova to share. While waiting for the main to arrive, we were served bread with olive oil and vinegar for dipping. The main finally arrived after 20mins and we digged into it as we were hungry. The serving size was not that big but I guess that is `fine dining'. My wife love the tea smoked duck. I took a bit of it too and I have to agree. It was delicious. My daughter was happy with the lamb rump but she thought it was also abit small. I was satisfied with my oil poach salmon as it was cook perfectly to my liking. The stirred fry beans were pretty good too. After we finished, it took a while before the dishes were cleared and the fresh dessert plates were replaced. Again we waited and after another 30 mins, I approached the waitress to ask if we can have our dessert now. The waitress apologies for our waiting and the dessert was served to us within 5 mins. Dessert was nice and we were glad we shared it as we would not be able to finish if we ordered them individually. Overall , it was a nice experience and for the next visit I will definitely order the Tea smoked duck.

Visited this outlet for the first time last Saturday afternoon. Was pleasantly surprised that they had the docket queue system. Many customers were there and this queue system will definitely helps the `first come first serve' customers. Many varieties of bread, pizza and pasties were available and they are all freshly baked everyday. My daughter and I both decided to try their Focaccia bread with ham and cheese. It cost only $2.90 per serving. The shop assistant was very cheerful and she asked if we want to toast the bread as well. Since it was a cold afternoon, we welcome the idea of the hot toasted focaccia bread. She proceeded to heat up our orders and politely informed us that it will be ready in 5 mins. When they were ready, my daughter and I could hardly wait to sink our teeth into the hot bread. It was delicious. Will definitely return to try more of the other varieties.

Every weekdays during school term, I will drive past the Dernancourt shopping area after picking my daughter from school. Many a-times we will stop to patron this shop. Yesterday was one of them. My daughter loves the potato chips there. The minute you walk in, you will be greet by the friendly voice and smile of the young assistance on duty. As usual my daughter order her packet of potato chips with chicken salt. Service was fast and efficient. Soon both of us was devouring the hot chips. There are also a variety of choices on the menu. Fish and chips, Roasted chicken and chips and also some reasonable set menus. On top of that there are a variety of salad and some cheese cake dessert.
Have try the set menu and it is value for money. Next time if you are feeling hungry and in the neighborhood, drop by this place and have a quick snack.

Was recommended by a family friend. Had been shopping for my family meat consumption since then. Mr Carl, the store manager is one of the friendliest person I have ever met. The meat that they sell are fresh and value for money. I like their minced meat because they actually weight and mince the meat there and then unlike those pre-minced in other stores. I also like their Korean Style meat, esp the Shabu Shabu. You can also call in thru' their phone to order your meat before going in, esp in the case if you want something for an occasion and do not want to be disappointed if they have no stock when you are there.

Whenever there is not enough time to cook or have last minute guests for dinner, we will call up Chef Lai to order some dishes to add on to our home cook meal. The dishes they cooked are quite good and it definately goes well with my whole family and friends. My daughter love their `lemon chicken' and I like their `sweet sour pork'.

Went there for lunch one weekday a couple of weeks back. It was 1pm and the restaurant was empty. There were 4 of us. No one came to serve us. We found our own table and went into the back to look for the person in charge, Anyway I order the `Mango Chicken' curry with rice whilst my friend order the Lamb Korma. The food came after about 20 mins. Overall, I find the mango chicken abit sweet for my liking. Maybe it is because it is `lunchtime' but the crowd was not there. Guess I may come in again to try `dinnertime'.
