We chose Cath to be our celebrant after attending a friends wedding at which she had carried out the ceremony.

We had originally planned to get married late Feb and had organised the date with Cath a while ago. We both went around and ran through the basics, did the simple paper work. All ver friendly. Then, we had a change and needed to get it done quicker.

All in all, we brought everything forward with just over a weeks notice, during this time we had to pop around go through the final choice of readings and vows. Cath had been extremely accommodating, even being prepared to put off a prior family engagement to help us out. As it turned out she brought her family along to the wedding including her charming daughter who even helped decorate the venue with some flowers. The ceremony went without a hitch.

It was beautifully done, some of the guests commented to me on the day that we were lucky to get her to do it, I really think we were.
