I started going here a few months ago, after not being happy with another chemist. This store is roomy, has well stocked shelves, has plenty of choice, nice staff and has always had the controlled medication that i get regularly.
Parking is right out the front door and is up the quiet end of Brantome Street.

We went here for a birthday a few weeks ago and it was really nice. this pub used to be a real dive. Its had shootings years ago and who know's what else. I was really surprised when i drove past it a few months ago and saw that it had been 'done up'.
The meals were very nice and well priced. It has a playroom for the kids and the restaurant is quite spaceous.
The only thing i would have to fault, was when we had finished our meals and wanted to serve cake, they didn't come and clear the table. We had to use our bread plates and go and get spoons. They still didn't come.
It wasn't until we were getting up and leaving that a staff member came and started clearing our table.
I would recommend this pub to anyone to go and try - especially families looking for somewhere to go with the kids.

Approximate cost: $22

We dined here last weekend for a Birthday. Our booking time was 6pm. There were 8 adults, 2 teens and 2 toddlers. We ordered and then a big group came in for a pre-booked 21st. We had a fairly long wait, while the 21st's meals came out before ours (we were told later that they were pre-ordered 2 weeks ago).
When our meals finally came out, my 'special' chicken was very small compared to the other meals and my vegies were cold. It also cost more than a huge Parma. Another meal was Fish Basket and 2nd piece of fish was really cold inside.
They offered us desert and coffee (which we said 'No' to) and the Chef kindly took $5.00 off the bill. How big of him/her. That was no compensation for what we received.
We were pretty disappointed when we left.

Approximate cost: $20

Since moving to Gisborne in August 2010, I picked this Chemist because it was near Coles (where i shop). My girls both take special meds, which they said after the 1st time of going there, that they would get specially in and have on hand for when i need it.
The 2nd time i needed their meds, they didn't have it. I had to go back in a few days later, so they could get them in. I rang before i made the trip.
I went in last week to get a script for myself, and with all the staff they had in the pharmacy part, they left me standing there for about a minute. An assistant came from the other end of the store to serve me. One of the Pharmacists then mistook me for someone else and started looking for something unrelated to me. The assistant then found my completed script in the usual place.
The few times i have been here, staff seem to be unorganised, on what seem to be personal phone calls or talking to customers loud enough for store customers to hear.
The staff are certainly friendly enough, but there are just a few things that need improving.
I would probably try another Chemist in town before returning to this one.

I have been with ING since April 2003. I don't think i have had any problems with them. I do everything via internet banking, and i think the only time i have had to contact them by phone, is when i have had to change certain account details.
Their Savings Maximiser account has excellent interest, but u needed an external bank account (NAB etc) to transfer the money in and out of. They now have a Everyday account, which is like a normal bank account, so that would eliminate having the external account.

I highly recommend this bank over the other main banks.

This website is great. They send u a "catch" and you have 24hrs to buy this catch. They then offer another one. They only have limited stock, so 1st in 1st served. They have things like TV's, grocery items, IT items, baby things, etc, etc.
They have very good prices and postage is reasonable too.
I have brought various items - a laptop, surge protector board, chupa chups, + more.

I love this store. I always leave here after spending about $200. I already spend hours each visit, but could spend longer just browsing. I always find something i have not seen on previous visits.
One thing that does annoy me, is that somethings you cant work out what they are or what they are for. Because they are in a different language, its hard to work out sometimes.
You also have to remember to get yr parking ticket validated so that u dont have to pay for parking.
The restaurant is also good. Love the meatballs!
They also now have an Ikea Family club. You get exclusive discounts both in the store and the restaurant. Worth joining.

A great place to shop. You have to be a member and can purchase this for about $60. You have to know your prices, but there can be some real bargains. They have everything from TV's to stationery to clothing to food. They have their own butchers, bakers, pizza makers and they are all behind glass so you can watch what they are doing. They have great fresh produce, meat and bakery items, as well as frozen foods. You mostly have to buy in bulk, but it's easily put away or in the freezer for later. I really like this place. I've been there 3 times now and they have had some different things around the place each time. They also do cheap photo printing 9cents per print if i remember correctly.

I have been with Flybuys since they started back in the '90's. I get a reward every few years and all i do is shop at Coles, Kmart, Target etc, get petrol from Coles Express, get tyres from Kmart Tyre & Auto, buy alcohol from Liquorland etc, etc.
It's not hard. I don't go out of my way to shop at these stores, but i do check if i can purchase the items i want from those stores. It eventually becomes a habit to do so.
If i every get a reminder to say points are about to expire, I go through the catalogue and see what i can get. A few months ago i got a Phillips shower radio. About 3yrs ago i got tickets to theme parks in Qld. Even if i only spend $5, i still use my card. It all adds up in the end.
My partner has a card and so do both my parents. It all helps.

Towards the end of May 2010 we got this business to cut down a 15 metre tree for us. They quoted $450 to chop it down and cut up into fire wood and the small stuff would be mulched and some left on the property. They happened to come on the same day we had an excavator there doing some work, so the machine ended up pushing the tree over for them to cut up.
When we arrived at the property, after the job had been done, the tree had gone and so had everything we had asked for. No firewood & no mulch.
We spoke to the excavator driver and he said anything and everything went thru the mulcher. He could not believe the big pieces they were putting in the mulcher.
My partner contacted this business and asked where all the firewood and mulch was. Their answer was that they could get us mulch anytime. We said we would not be paying for a service that was not done as we specified and that was agreed to by the owner.
The battle for money continued on and off throughout the remainder of 2010 until in December the owners son came knocking on the door 1 Sunday morning. My partner said that it was simple. Drop off our firewood and i'll be happy to pay you. The son agreed to drop off some wood.
In January 2011 we finally got some firewood. It wasn't as much as it should have been but we thought that there must have been another load coming. We have heard nothing until today 18/02/11.
The son came knocking on our door again asking for money. We had a discussion and i got my partner to cal him.
The outcome was that we agreed that we would pay $400 for the job as long as we didn't hear from them again.
DON'T USE THEM!!
