My dog was very ill from another vet clinic. He was desexed and microchiped but bleeding very heavily and was sent home. I was so worried I was on my way to a after hours vet - I saw that these guys were open until 9pm so my hubby and I dropped in with my very scared chihuahua. Not only did they get a vet to see him ASAP - they didnt charge us a consult fee because they were only looking over him and sent us to the vet hospital. They were excellent - it proves that they really love animals because they didnt want to make a profit out of my sick little guy. Thank you :)

Lack of communication, never called to find out how my dog was going after they sent him home VERY ill - they botched up a desexing and a microchip - my chihuahua (a measly 3.5 kilos) was bleeding so badly I had to go to after hours vet hospital. I left Pet doctor feeling anxious, scared and worried for my animal. There is a very unfriendly female vet @ West Lakes who after speaking with a few family/friends only to find I am not the only one and she has a very bad reputation for animals biting her, and not liking her, my dog hated her after she tried to pull out his baby teeth. Some people are better with animals than humans in this case - she is not good with both. Will never go back. I recommend Port Adelaide Vet on Hart st - not only did I feel I could call them distressed about my bleeding dog - they booked me an appt for the first thing the next day and they called the next day to ensure that me and my dog were ok.
